So for most of the commuter rail trains the mbta use HSP46 Models and around 40 of them which are all used via by South Station (the locos in the route currently are there old locos that are used for shunting passenger cars around and are primarily only used at the Pawtucket yard, South Station yard, and North Station yard but as I said only few still work on the North Station routes

    Coaches
Tha passenger coaches (which in the route are 89-90 Bombardier CTC1B are not used via South station but every once in a while you'll see them used on the other 7 lines out of South Station but not on the Providence/Stoughton line)

The carriages that are currently used are the 90-91 Kawasaki BTC-4 and CTC-4 all of which were overhauled from 2014-2019.

They certainly did drop the ball when selecting MBTA rolling stock for Boston Sprinter. Not being from Boston, the first time I went to South Station I was excited to see the trains I drove in TSW and none of them were the locomotive in the game and all were bi-levels. I was sorely disappointed with the route after learning that.

Yea like I said they haven't used those emd asince probably 2009 around 2010-2011 they switched over the San Fran/San Jose baby bullet and then over HSP46 Models for the stock South Station uses the bi levels for rush hour but will use the old singles for other routes but most are now used on the North Station routes even with amtrack it's rare to actually see a old style northeast corridor Loco cause most are the new version or you'll see acela but you'll see them on the lake shore limited in the form of the cardinals which do roll into South Station just gotta be in when they come in

    I'd love the red line.

Green Line treat it as the US Version of RMV U-Bahn Frankfurt from TSC because you are running Trams underground and at grade

Honestly with it being Boston's rapid transit line and it being the fastest of all the lines at a top speed of 60mph above and 45mph underground it would a good line to have

Yep, distance wise should be able to get the entire line in as well. I'm biased though, it's one of the only US lines I've actually been on in reality. Prices were really cheap (compared to UK).
