It's a very nice shot but in order to get the 395 into Gillingham depot, you need to use the God Mode community mod. I thought mods were against the contest rules?
well, I think they are visually against the rules, which means reskins or custom models are against the rules. It is a kind of unfair advantage for PC players to console players, but as long as DTG doesn't change anything, it has to stay like this.
The rules state community mods, it doesn’t actually specify visual ones. God mode is a community mod, therefore it should not be allowed in the contest. This isn’t the first time god mode has won the contest either. There was a West Somerset one quite recently that clearly used it to place Spirit of Steam stock in a yard. I think closer moderation of rules needs to be in place going forward to make it fair to those on console platforms. They can’t cheat using god mode to setup the “perfect shot” after all.
You would be surprised by the malleability of the West Somerset Railway route when combined with Scenario Planner, the red signal glitch, and a few hours of head-scratching.
i indeed used GodMode for that, i'm really sorry i forgot about it, i shouldn't have posted it in the first place, sorry about that
but you won so DTG played theirselves so I guess since this can't be undone now we still can use godmode freely?
i guess it depends on whether they notice it or not but for this case it was my fault, i shouldn't have uploaded it in the first place, but it's too late now
well there was another winner where an ICE 1 was in an american route, possibly godmode, but scenario planner is always an excuse I guess
No, it means DTG should be doing better at moderating their own contest and preventing god mode from being used in these contests. It’s cheating when 2/3 of the players can’t access it.
Because if it wasn´t for us, the PC Master Race wouldn´t have their Route DLCs for lousy €35,99....... duuuuuh.
