    Hi everyone!

I just bought TSW3 and RailDriver and so far, I am having a blast. But something I noticed is that the auto brake lever of some trains in-game is goes to the center unless you manually hold it. That is, if you just press the corresponding button on the keyboard, the lever goes into "apply" or "release" for maybe half a second, and then automatically goes back to "hold". This is solved by keeping the keyboard button pressed.

Unfortunately it seems that RailDriver doesn't allow this and when I move the autobrake on RailDriver, it registers as a button press, but it cannot be hold in place, so even if the RD is on "release", the one in-game goes back to Idle after half a second.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Thanks a lot!

How I deal with this is to just work the brake lever back and forth at the release position. Watch the brake values and if they are releasing, then you are getting them released.

Thank you Sharon! Indeed, I rock back and forth the RD lever, but it kind of breaks the immersion and doesn't allow me to be as precise as I would like to. I was wondering if there is any way to override the self-centering behavior.

Thanks anyway! I guess I'll resign myself to rocking the lever!

Fundamentally, a controller designed for US diesel locos is never going to give entirely satisfactory results when you try to use it to control non-US locos.
