    Introduction

Hello, today I am suggesting my first English route! This will be an extension that would include 1 new train. Since the release of Midland Mainline I have had a slight problem with it though. There is one UK high speed series of trains that I love and I was gutted to find out that this train wouldn't be in the route. I also thought it could do with an extension so you can actually start somewhere without train coming to/from out of bounds.

    The Route
This would be a long extension. Roughly 87 miles or 140km going from Leicester to London St Pancras. (Not sure if I spelt Leicester right. Please let me know if I make any mistakes in the suggestion.). Now, I know this is a long extension but it will be 100000% worth it. The line is very scenic and has 4 trains per hour running giving it a good timetable. It will also open up the far nicer looking part of London St Pancras station with the large canopy above. You'll really get to push the trains to their limits on this route as well.

    Rolling Stock
Trains Comming with the route are:
    Class 700 (LAYERED)
Playable from London St Pancras to Luton

    Class 158 EMT

    Class 222 Meridian EMT

This is a Desil multiple unit part of the 220 family that is capable of tilting. It can run at speeds of up to 125mph or 200km/h and has a stunning interior. When you see a train like this, you know it's going to be fast. This, unlike other Desil high speed trains has great acceleration. I would appreciate it if I saw this train in the game and I wouldn't mind really if it was just the train and no extension.

    Stations
    London St Pancras

    Luton Airport Parkway
    Luton
    Bedford
    Wellingborough
    Kettering
    Market Harborough
    Leicester

    Conclusion
I think this would be a great Extension to see in TSW and I'd love to see a voyager (or voyager like train) in the game. Thanks for readi
ng and please let me know your thoughts below

Good suggestion mate (you spelt Leicester spot on), however this would make MML too long so you'd be better off with a MML South route between St Pancras and Kettering (with Corby branch included) so at least you get your suggested 222 and part of the suggested extension :)

I'd rather it be extended North towards Sheffield, and the 222 as DLC for the route. But I wouldn't turn this down either. It's one of my favourite routes currently, and certainly would like more of it.

I do think this would make it a little too long but would certainly be nice split. Have MML south between Pancras and Leicester with or without the Corby branch depending on what era you want to do.

I do like the sound of a Sheffield extension! Might post that in another thread...

Whichever direction the mainline goes it surely needs one, that 29 mile route is too short for a HST

Great suggestion mate, though I think Bedford may be more likely. This would be a proper Intercity experience which I would really like to get from TSW. Brilliant suggestion!
