I've been enjoying playing a few older US passenger routes such as Harlem, Boston, LIRR etc. However, one route that I fancy playing again after a very, very long time is Peninsula Corridor which, in the earlier days of TSW, was one of my favourite routes thanks to its timetable, lots of loco DLC and variety as well as route length etc. However, I see that Peninsula Corridor still crops up on the most recent TSW roadmaps regarding issues with the Baby Bullet DLC services. Thus, despite this, is the route still actually playable in timetable mode as of TSW 3? Secondly, is it worth potentially uninstalling the aforementioned loco DLC if that's what' the main issue with the route is? Thanks.
It is playable, but services with the Baby Bullet train are not visible. I think the cab car is missing entirely from the selection and MP36 has about 7 or so services. If you play on PC, there is a mod that fixes the issue. It's been present since the release of TSW3 last September.
Okay, thanks Cael - I might just uninstall that loco DLC for now then as, if I remember correctly, they didn't even actually add any new services I think? Unfortunately, I'm on Series X.
You don't need to uninstall anything. All the services are there and can be driven -- you just can't select them from the menu with Baby Bullet cab car (but you still can use regular gallery cabcar with F40PH). If you want to drive Baby Bullet with cabcar, you just have to spawn on foot at San Jose and take over the train by sitting in the driver's seat.
