Evening everyone, I'm playing a bit of 'South Wales Coastal' and I've noticed I'm not unlocking any of the steam achievements. Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong?
Are you playing with advanced controls and career scoring on? There were also two versions of SWC, the achievements might require a specific one of those.
The original version(s) of SWC were discontinued due to licencing. A new version was released which also included the extension to Swansea. The original version Bristol - Cardiff is available if you pick up an older copy of TSC but the extension is no longer available. I'm not sure which version of TS20xx contains that route though
So basically, I can no longer earn any achievements for the route? I'm guessing it's the same for North wales coastal too??
I wouldn't assume that. As far as I'm aware the full functionality of the older replaced routes are retained, provided you own them.
Thats what I thought, but alas, I've tried doing them again but still won't unlock. Can anyone from DTG enlighten me??
I've checked my achievements and I've unlocked achievements on both the original South Wales, Bristol - Cardiff and the extended Bristol - Swansea. If you're not getting these it may be worth submitting a support ticket to DTG.
