I would like to see the Shinkansen of Japan or some Vietnamese as DLC for the TSW in the future. Furthermore, why is there no Swiss route? I would like something with the Swiss Crocodile. Moreover, I miss some steam locomotives does not have to be a big selection but some would be great. I would suggest the Big Boy US routes. Adding some of those suggested DLCS or something similar would strengthen the "World" aspect which is part of the name of the product. Till now we only have US, UK and Germany that is not bad and I love the content but there is more in the world than just those three countries.
I think the main reason that we currently only have these 3 countries is, that from their experiences with TS20XX those might are the most popular ones. And since its takes a lot of time to create a Route with the Detail that is possible in UE4, they focus on those currently. The main goal for TSW is to build up a bigger route selection to attract more players. Steam is something they want to do, but its also something that isnt that easy to model. They are still learning how to utilize UE4 in the best way. I would say Steam is 12+ month away, but we will see. Having all that said i would be interested in some other European countries, Canada and Japan aswell. Maybe even a route that goes through multiple countries where you have to switch the voltage or something would be interesting. But i guess the best bet is that 3rd parties will create routes in different countries. Cant see DTG to change their cycle soon, due to licensing and knowledge. And we on Console still have to see if and how they plan on bringing 3rd party Addons to Console.
To be honest, speaking for myself, if we had just a UK version of this game I would be happy. But being in the UK I'm just biased. I watch some of the TS2019 streams and see things like the North Wales Coastal route, Preston to Glasgow etc and thing wow I would love that.
I’d like to see some French routes in the game but also more UK based routes such as; York - Doncaster East Coast Main Line Doncaster - Peterborough East Coast Main Line Sheffield - Leicester Midland Main Line London St Pancras - Luton Parkway Midland Main Line Crew - Birmingham West Coast Main Line
I'd really like to see Middlesbrough to Newcastle for the Class 101, and maybe some of the Kent Link/Kent Coast for the Networker.
