Hi, I'm pretty sure that all cars used to have different numbers in the past. Is this something that got broken in an update, and could it please be fixed again?
Hello again, I know it's not even been two years since posting this, but is it really to much to ask for some kind of a reply or even, dare I dream, a fix for this? Because it´s still broken! I mean, this really is such a brilliant game (I have well over a thousand hours in TSW from the beginning) but it is being constantly let down by the fact that it takes forever and ever to get even the smallest of bugs fixed, if ever at all.
I had nothing better to do today, so I went back to watch the release stream for the C40-8W from 26 Nov 2020, just to see if the numbering worked correctly back then. It was actually really enjoyable to watch this old stream with Sam and Matt. Sam being his usual funny self, and Matt with the insight and knowledge of both the game and the trains. Matt also gave a nice demonstration of how to use the dynamic brakes. Two professionals at work. I really miss these old streams. Anyway, it turns out that I was wrong about the numbering working correctly at some point, because even in this release stream all the cars have the same number. So it hasn't been broken by an update. It was already broken from the start.
