According to mastery leaks, an Austrian route has been leaked. Don't know if it's a Dovetail release or third party route. It appears that it will be the Voralberg. What are your opinions for this choice as the first Austrian route in the game?

This is already being discussed in other threads so while subject to confirmation, day or two old news at this point.

If it turns out to be the Voralberg, it could be spectacular if done justice.

Dare I say it's Austrian with a Swiss flavor which would make it an attractive purchase for me.

Sorry to ask GTAGamer245 but do you have a screenshot of this mastery leaks or have you just heard it off someone.

It was once again a link to Dovetail's CDN that now says "access denied". Just like the Antelope Valley line.

Is Voralberg the same line as the Three Country Route in TSC?

Voralberg line officially goes from Lindau to Bludenz. The Three Country Corner route had extension on top of that going to St. Anton as well as a branch line to Rorschach (going to Switzerland).

The TSW route name doesn't make it clear if something like that will be included.

no that’s a TSC route called three country route. The main part of that route might be what the Voralberg route in TSW4 might be.

I do like cross-border routes. This would be a first for TSW. TSC has Stasbourg-Karlsruhe, and third party dev RSSLO makes Austrian routes that cross into Slovenia, Germany, and Italy.

The lines in Vorarlberg are really busy. Sometimes on the mainline Bregenz Bludenz 6 train in a hour with a lot off different stopping frequency... you have REX R S RJ RJX IC EC NJ and ICE services.... the full package I can say. And when Joe is on the steering wheel for the timetable than you have fun....

Not to mention that it has single-track running, mountain passes, and of course the 'mainline' section + branches into Switzerland and such.
    Truly the full package.

All local trains terminated at Bregenz and does not run to the Arlberg. On the mountain is only RJ RJX EC and ICE no local trains.

Do I understand correctly that the only info we have now is the word Voralberg in the mastery icon name? If so, then I have a crazy prediction.
It's not gonna be Austria, but a route between Valadilène and Barrockstadt, filled with clockwork trains, automatons, and puzzles.
That would also be a new French route that people were waiting for since Focus Entertainment takeover (since Valadilène's supposed to be in France).
So, I'm betting a sum of 5 eurocents (that I found in my desk drawer) that it's gonna be Syberia DLC.

P.S. For people who take everything at face value -- this is a joke.

I think we will be lucky if we get anything more than one new train (ÖBB 4024?) and the section from Bludenz to Bregenz (or Lindau).
I wouldn't expect the branch to Switzerland and definitely not anything past Bludenz.

Plus there is not a good termination point after Bludenz... the next big station is Landeck-Zams which is 65 km away from Bregenz. Expect DTG to underdeliver, not overdeliver.

Do you ever visited Bregenz or Landeck? So I don't think so.... the line Bregenz Bludenz is crazy at trains and what do you expect further? To Innsbruck? And Bludenz is absolutely a good terminating station. All the local trains terminating there. There is no local trains to Landeck.

But there is a possibility that Landeck is included. But the schedule is the same as Bludenz

To be exact it's the Austrian German section of the three Country Corner route from train simulator classic which was Feldkirch Dornbirn Bregenz Lindau without the branch to Switzerland Kanton St Gallen St Margethen

That is called ÖBB Baureihe 1293 Netherlands and Belgium equipped versions 173-200. that that version is actually seen on Hauptstrecke Rhein Ruhr Duisburg & Mülheim an der Ruhr Styrum because they act as the entry on to the main line to the Netherlands which is the Hollandstrecke Duisburg Oberhausen Arnhem

The 1293 is a ÖBB number. There is no difference in type here. Is in reality a normal 193

Thanks for telling me about that. Also, are you saying that the 1016 15kv only 15/25kv 1116 are also 182s with them simply reskinned and remade from the for the Voarlberg Bahn TSC Three Country route from the RT 182

The thing is in the Vectron series there is a lot off versions... and I never write that all the Vectrons are the same... But for example the 1293 has 15kv 25kv 1,5kv and 3kv and is labeled with the serienumber 1293 but there way more type Vectron that have same package. The 1293 is only a subnumber.

The difference between a 1116 or 1016 is the same as the Vectrons what they have ordered is inside. Outside is nearly identical. The most important thing you can easily noticed is the 3rd pantograph on 1116 for Switzerland. But not all the 1116 are equipped with the 3rd pantograph.

The 1016 and 1116 are capable for running on ETCS with supervision but for (a part of) the locos that was not possible so they get later a refit with all the things for driving under ETCS with a DMI (Digital Driver Machine to see you're speed and all the necessary data) for example.

Don't leak anything which has not true. Only dovetail games can confirm it as well as third party developer!!!

You're not a mod, and it's not your job to police the forums. If DTG had a problem with the content, it would have already been removed. The mods are very active on this forum. The stuff that has been "leaked" is from the TrainSimWorld Official website. It's true, regardless of what you think of it.

It's been an open secret for a little while now that we're getting an Austrian and it's coming from Dtg, not a third party.
