And it appears TSW3 routes will get the volumetric fog. The only thing they won't get I think is the new rain windshield effect, the new longer distance line viewing, and the chaining feature in scenario planner.
Interested to know what is happening with the existing bugs (silent AI, etc) and also if the steam loco firing/simulation has been improved/added, especially as they are bringing out a new kettle (Scotsman) with TSW4. And of course, will any fixes/improvements get backdated to the SoS and PF locos. Answers to these will go a long way to deciding if WSR gets a GWR Manor
Indeed. There is some ambiguity in the FAQ regarding the abandonment of legacy stuff. I just read that as the older cores TSW2, TSW3 etc will not get any update but I do feel it should clarify whether or not they intend to drop fixes and updates for actual pre TSW4 content. Even some recent TSW3 releases are in need of fixes - the Class 700 sound levels, PFR scenery gaps and tearing let alone stuff like Clinchfield or Rapid Transit.
I have resigned myself to the fact that we aren't going to get actual control over the steam engines. It's been a year now.
Honestly they said that stuff would be fixed even before sos came out and we'd just have to wait a little bit after sos release. They have left a trail of problems and will have released 2 games since sos with no fixes for it. And yes where is wsr steam locos. We're asking to spend money dtg.
