Whenever I try to launch the game, it shows up in the taskbar, but it just won't maximize on the screen. I've tried clicking on it, right-clicking to see if there's a "Maximize" option, and even restarting my computer, but nothing seems to work. It's like the game is stuck in the taskbar. Exit game then delete your PlayerProfiles.bin located in Railworks/Content folder. you may have an unsupported resolution selected. This will rebuild to a default resolution when you start the game. Post your results here.
Nothing to worry about Nothing that doesn't get regenerated when you re-run the game, the only thing really lost is the graphics settings which is exactly what you wanted anyway.
If you are worried just rename the PlayerProfile.bin to PlayerProfile.bin_old. It will keep and ignore this but generate a new one.
How do you mean "affect my Quick Drive progress" ? AFAIK there is nothing stored apart from your last run - so you can replay it - and the time/weather settings.
