It would be lovely to see my local routes come to TSW3 featuring the stations of London Euston, Milton Keynes Central, Rugby, Nuneaton, Atherstone, Polesworth*, Tamworth, Lichfield TV, Rugeley TV, Stafford and Crewe. I would love to see this not in the current days but in the Virgin and London Midland days. I would love to see the 390 with their tilt through the WCML and the 350 for the regional services. You could also layer on the '72 stock on the London portion of the WCML as well.

*Polesworth is a limited station only having one train per day at near enough 6am.

It would more likely start at Rugby and go through to Stafford from there, going any further south is very complex and likely too big a project for a single route DLC. Plus DTG no longer have permission to use the Virgin Trains livery unfortunately, so it would either have to be current day with Avanti or back in the British Rail days with Intercity. Definitely would like to see the Trent Valley Line though! :)

Very ambitious length wise and frankly would be a route I'd like to see in the days of swallow. The Trent valley section is an alright section of line and I would happily take control of an 87 along it. Not a fan of the 390s so that doesn't help the modern case in my book.

Then InterCity is the only option. The Avanti livery (if DTG get the licence) is ugly in comparison.

    That's a matter of opinion ;)
I personally quite like the Avanti livery.

BR Blue era in the 70’s with a Class 86 and Class 310 EMU. Loads of DLC scope with Class 81 to 85 roarers, old Class 304 units which did run south of Rugby occasionally, plus Class 25’s on the trip freights. Mark one, Mark Two (both pressure ventilated and A/C) plus Mark Three coaches all to be seen.

Rugby to Stafford would be far more realistic in terms of length. It’d be great to see DIRFT included too, and maybe the inclusion of DB 90s

This is never going to happen.
Nearest you could get to it is probably Rugby to Birmingham.

A distance of 91 miles. A bit of a stretch, but maybe.

Would be cool to somehow merge this with the spirit of steam route, but since those would end up in different eras I don't suppose you could even merge them.

The avanti livery is very cool to be honest, it looks amazing on the class 805 concept pictures.

The trains themselves are fine, it's just the livery.

They’d not build a route that actually has scenery on it! Also it’s far too logical to link up Rugby and Crewe or Stafford. Would have to be something like Nuneaton to Tamworth!
