I don't believe I have ever seen this suggested and it dumbfounds me that I haven't thought of this. Amtraks Hiawatha is a daily commuter line that connects Chicago to Milwaukee and it's only 1hr 29 min in duration. This route features the Siemens Charger in the Amtrak Midwest livery. The constist also has the new venture cars for coach and business class. Listed below are pictures of the train and stations.
Actually, it has been suggested. It would be a nice type of route to have in tsw and allows you to take in the views of both cities and scenery along the way. Route length isn't too crazy, but might be a stretch, but it's nice to have nice scenic routes. That would be absolutely great. It would be nice to have another Amtrak corridor route outside the Northeast Corridor in Train Sim World.
Add a few CPCK diesels for freight services including: CP AC4400CWM, SD70ACU, ES44AC, SD30C-ECO, and GP20C-ECO and KCS GP33ECO, ET44AC, ES44AC, SD40-2, SD33ECO, etc. I want the Siemens Chargers (and/or maybe a P42DC DLC). By the way, Metra also runs on this route, so a Metra MP36PH-3C and/or SD70MACH would be great to see handling Metra trains.
