"Dose wet coal Burn" TSW3.. get to first check point " Summit" 3% Start down hill run at 3MPH using DB + IB train get up 7MPH controlled ok then at 2.6% increases slowly to 15 then.. away it goes up to 72MPH Full application IB and AB + DB to 8 then AB to Emergency when train train comes to a stop Brakes are locked have waited 3 Hr nothing you apply releases Brakes (BC 2) (MR 140) (ER 89) (BP 0) is this a Glitch or am i missing something ???? Train will not move even though is on an 8% incline This is in TSW3 PS as to this i have run "Dose wet coal burn" several times with a combination DB AB and IB at one point i did get to stop Point JK and waiting for Passing train a wait of 15 to 20 Min and permission to contune Brakes will not release ( yes tried Braking com on /off ) Regards RP

Something tells me you be lying just a little bit there..........the game you claim to be using hasn't even been released yet........ Edit: The OP figured out their slight clanger and changed the post title
I just started the scenario last night to test it, but bedtime got in the way. One thing I did notice is the briefing at the start tells you to turn banking comms on in the leading loco. In fact when you hit the radio switch it shows they are already on, so I toggled off then on again to be sure. Started the train moving with one or two notches of power and immediately shut off on the falling gradient. At that point I had to save and exit so will go back in later, get the dynamics on and see what happens. May need to set 15 or 20lb of air as well.
In terms of controlling speed on the downhill section, no issues whatsoever here. I crested the summit at 15 MPH and gradually took the power off. Once speed started to increase running downhill, brought the dynamic brake on through to Notch 8. With slight acceleration applied train brake reduction to 78psi and eased back on the dynamic. Was able to keep speed under 20 MPH throughout the 2.2 - 2.6% section. Released train brake once the shallower 1.1% descent reached and able to use light dynamic brake. Currently approaching JK on minimum train brake set and using dynamics to bleed off speed as necessary to stop.
Finished the run after a brief wait at JK for the opposing train. The only issue I had with the scenario was each time I loaded the save game, the train brakes were fully applied and the reverser was in neutral which I had to recover from.
Thank you for Imput Finished the Scenario today as i worked out what i was doing wrong "Auto Brake" i was saving the Game at intervals and what would happen when i entered the game latter at that point the AB would be in the Handel off potition and Braking com was on but off on tail unit (that is when i used the keyboard key ' for AB it would go straight to Emergency. and downhill was all controled by DB and IB
