Though it is a reservoir, it is also known as Lake Amistad. Lake Amistad is on the Rio Grand River at its confluence with the Devils River 12 miles (19 km) northwest of Del Rio, Texas. The name of the dam and lake is the Spanish word for "friendship". The lake is bounded by Val Verde County on the United States side of the international border and by the state of Coahuila on the Mexican side of the border; the American shoreline forms the Amistad National Recreation Area. The reservoir was formed in 1969 by the construction of Amistad Dam. The dam and lake are managed jointly by the governments of the United States and Mexico through the International Boundary and Water Commission. The following species of fish are found here: Large and Small Mouth Bass; White Bass; Striped Bass; Black Bass; Channel Catfish; Blue Catfish, Yellow Catfish, as well as carp, sunfish, Blue Gill, and Crappie. It has a surface area of 64,900 acres and a max depth of 217 ft. I thinks such a map would be well welcomed, especially if some modeling of the Rivers leading into the lake and well as it being a international lake. My understand it is the second largest international manmade lake.
This would be a great venue. It's already in other bass fishing games like Trophy Bass 4 and Bass Pro Shops: The Strike.
