Dear people, I cannot believe that I am the only one, which of you also has the 'UE4-TS2Prototype' problem? I have had it out of the blue since 14-03, I have been trying to solve it since that day, but so far without results. Only TSW seems to have the problem, no further games. Does any of you have a solution?
Uhm, what is "the nasty UE4-TS2Prototype" problem? Have you raised a support ticket? If not, I highly recommend doing so.
One with screenshot: https://steamcommunity.com/app/530070/discussions/0/1483232961043936968/ The problem is already known to DTG / TSW, Coppo also reported it: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/an-unreal-process-has-crashed-ue4-ts2prototype.12307/ A message from 2017: Scroll down, RWADAY recommends contacting DTG: https://steamcommunity.com/app/530070/discussions/0/133259956021031340/ I have already indicated it to DIMITRI but still no answer (!!!!): https://forums.dovetailgames.com/members/trainsim-dmitri.9985/#profile-post-553 And of course Google ...................................: https://www.google.com/search?q=ue4...K1AKHU9HCEUQBQgpKAA&biw=2133&bih=1056&dpr=0.9
Just to follow up on my issue, which occurred the day after RSN came out DTG advised that it was not a problem of their making (although every other game I had worked fine) and that my PC was too old to run TSW adequately (i7 2.3Ghz; 16Gb Ram, and a 760 Nvidea card). As buying a new pc was not on my radar at the time I waited a couple of months and hey presto, when the next route was launched, TSW came back to life. I'm still using the same pc, but have upgraded to a 970 card (and, in the last week, a 32" screen), and it still works fine. The big screen makes it look amazing! My suggestion would be to uninstall TSW, reboot a couple of times and download again. That might cure it for you. Cheers John
Hi there, have you sent a ticket to our support system? That is the best place to go with those issues https://dovetailgames.kayako.com/Tickets/Submit
Ah - that box means that the game has crashed. Normally that implies some form of corruption, driver problem or hardware problem. As Dmitri says - raise a support ticket and the team can take you through the options to try and help.
Dear Trainsim-Matt and Dmitri, I have followed your advice regarding the drivers. It was indeed due to that, I removed and finished all windows updates from the day I got the problems, TSW does it again. Unfortunately, everything has to be installed again because I have removed a few things on my search. I hope that if someone comes with the same mistake, it will help them. To supplement. Someone had already mentioned it somewhere, don't set your screen resolution too high either because then you will get the same error message (at least, I had it)
