Already own the game but got it initially with the BCC starter pack so never had the Cajon or Wurzberg routes so will pick this up - standard edition at £5.99 so got to be worth £3 per route!
I was gonna skip buying TSW3 as I’ve been playing on game pass for the past year, but at this price I can justify it to satisfy train sim itch between now and 21st
Just to mention, if you purchase TSW 3 now, those routes will become part of your collection should you want to get TSW 4 at any time in the future. So, you can download those routes in TSW 4. If you played TSW 3 on Xbox Game Pass but did not purchase the game or any add-ons, those TSW 3 routes won't be part of your collection. Therefore, you won't be entitled to download those add-ons in TSW 4.
Pretty good deal pretty much a bargain steal, not one I could get as I already have the routes though, I’ve been keeping an eye out for deals on Linke or Birmingham for some time. I’ll continue to do so
If you don't have Game Pass you should still be able to get the Deluxe edition (which comes with base TSW3 routes and Spirit of Steam) for £7.99 or Deluxe edition & Loco Bundle (Dospolok BR 182, Railhead Treatment Train and Santa Fe F7) for £11.99? Alternatively the UK, German or US Starter Packs are £5.99. These are available with Gold.
Thanks for the heads-up, picked up the Deluxe Edition, wasn’t looking forward to losing access to Kassel. Not that it’s my favourite route, but the ICE alone is worth the EUR 7 plus change. The other routes are the icing

the store page on internet doesn’t seem to show it, I checked it on console (series x) and it shows up as discounted though. the deluxe edition shown on your picture though isn’t the one that includes everything at £11.99 that one with the loco bundle pack 1 is usually £59.99 rather than £39.99, it’s called deluxe and loco bundle.
“Get Xbox Live Gold”. That’s your first clue to why it shows £39.99 for you lol. It’s for Xbox Live gold members only (discount).

I guess the internet web store don’t show it no matter what. On the consoles store it comes up with 2 options for the deluxe edition & loco bundle starter pack “£11.99 with Xbox Gold Live Join Now” -or- “Buy £59.99*” standard edition I can’t see as my options are “Manage you own this” -OR- “Buy as Gift £29.99*”
Game Pass Ultimate? That's the one with multiplayer and Gold discounts. There's a new Game Pass subscription type replacing Gold soon. You can't get Gold perks on the standard Game Pass. Only on Gold or GPU. Reload the web page. That fixes it for me. Try signing out and back in again otherwise. You need Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass Ultimate.
Lol I was playing it on game pass but like a week ago bought it at regular price to make sure I keep the routes when it leaves. If I had waited I would have saved like $70 .
Did you try contacting Xbox support? Maybe you could get a refund and then buy the discounted version.
well I own TSW3 on PlayStation and Xbox now because of that couldn't turn down $8 for those roots call me crazy but I can't turn down a good deal
