PS5 Broken Trophies

just got the arosa line all scenarios trophy, also got the north transpennine scenarios one as well. Only 100 services on MSB I have not unlocked. Got those iffy trophies on a new PSN account and then merged with my old account. Not sure why it wont unlock on an old account. Maybe how they implemented the trophy's in the game causes the issue. maybe having too many unlocked trophies causes it I am not sure but I bet DTG test them on like a blank account so they can not replicate the issues on a fresh one

 

I also gave it a try and all bugged trophies unlocked fine for me on new PSN account. Its something but i still expect DTG to provide a proper fix for this.

I have just competed Trophy Group 15 and sadly 1x Trophy failed to unlock.
This failed trophy was NEC BP: Patriot (Complete all scenarios on Boston - Providence)
I could not get this trophy because one of the scenarios "Cold As Ice" was a buggy mess. On my first playthrough i smacked into a moving train on the same track as me towards the end.
I reset and tried again, Same thing,
I tried again under a new profile, i caught up to a train in front of me but slowed and followed it, when we got to near the end, i could not stop at final stop because a train was blocking the line.
I refuse to submit a ticket because DTG no longer care nor do anything to resolve.
This group was completed under a new profile and some on my main profile. My main profile wont allow me to unlock some group trophies.

Scenario "cold as ice" cannot be completed in TSW3 because (after 90 minutes of gameplay) the last station cannot be reached due to a red signal.

The frustrating problem has been mentioned several times and has existed since a patch about six months ago.

But unlike some trophies that cannot be reached under any circumstances (OSD Training, Br 143), there is a detour to reach the trophy anyway.

Namely you can complete the scenario in TSW2 and then import the profile into TSW3. But keep in mind that it is also buggy in TSW2 and you may only do things that are explicitly told to you.

For example if you want to run over a red signal by holding circle and the control panel allows you to continue... you will have the same problem as in TSW3 in the last corner. (If you haven't slammed into the train in front of you first).

But if you wait patiently at each red signal instead (sometimes takes 5 minutes) the error does not occur in the end.

I completed it myself a few weeks ago.

 

Just spent the best part of a day getting all the collectibles in Cajon Pass for the CIP: Taco Tuesday (Complete all route tasks on Cajon Pass) trophy.

And it didn't pop. It's getting ridiculous now. It's not as if it's an old route that has been migrated to TSW3.

DTG, can you not fix these????

Or if you can't/won't fix them, can you at least tell us what the cause is?

 

I managed to get Taco Tuesday on the fresh PSN account trick, never unlocked otherwise !

 

What's 'fresh PSN account' trick?

 

I have Problems with CJP: Passing Grade Trophy, does not unlock for me.
And same Problem with MML: Running Start.

It's not possible for me to complete all Scenarios from Trophy Valley Veteran at RSN, because the DLC DB BR363 Scenario "Güterbetrieb" has an Red light issue.

if anyone has any suggestions for a solution, please let me know.

The Midland Main Line 158 intro trophy did not unlock via normal unlocking but did on the fresh PSN account trick!
DTG really need to look into why some trophies only unlock under a fresh profile and others unlock properly. My guess is also DTG only test on new profiles as well so they cant or not even properly testing them on a mature profile

 

I stupidly went back to my normal account after getting the 158 intro trophy how wrong as was the all scenario trophy marathon champion and the level 10 for 158 athletic abilities did not unlock

Just managed to unlock athletic abilities for level 10 158 just now on the new psn profile

seems like most trophies in the game do unlock normally BUT on PS5 version of the game some trophies dont unlock on a mature profile or if you have loads of TSW3 trophies like in TSW2. I suspect its a basic issue with the game, and if testers are testing the trophies on a blank or newish profile they never will find out this issues. The fact it can be replicated so easily makes me wonder why or what have they been doing (DTG) to try to stop this ?

most likely but who knows they really need to do a refresher on how to implement trophies in the game
I have now completed and unlocked all the trophies in Midland Main Line and ALL of them required the new profile to unlock as they wont unlock on my previous profile

I cant understand why it would be like that, the only thing I can think of is they are not implementing trophies properly, this from a company that did not read the warnings about the 64 GB limit until it hit it, or maybe PSN has issues with games with big trophy lists possibly

As of now I just have the Buxton route to do (and the 2 trophies that are broken so cant do anything with those 2) and I will have completed TSW3 PS5

 

I have just completed the peak forest route all 3 trophies on PS5 TSW3 unlocked 1st attempt just like Glossop route. It does make we wonder why some will work 1st time on a mature profile but others only work on a fresh profile.

So its just SMH: Old hat (all training modules complete)
MSB: Clean sweep (100 services on MSB)

Those are the only 2 that nobody seems have to have unlocked on PS5 TSW3. I do hope if we do get a TSW4 DTG looks into why these trophies are either failing or wont unlock unless its on a new profile or it could be a repeat of TSW 2 and 3 again and the less said about TSW 2020 trophies the better!

 

I’ll try and meet the conditions for Trained and ready (SEHS) and hopefully All rounder (SEHS), I’ll work on some of the others as well so see if I can reproduce it or if it’s only certain accounts / games that are facing problems.

I could not get this trophy because one of the scenarios "Slow Ride" was a buggy mess. I could not deliver the basalt as the system would not activate the prompt marker.
I reset and tried again, Same thing,
I refuse to submit a ticket because DTG no longer care nor do anything to resolve.
This group was completed under a new profile. My main profile wont allow me to unlock some group trophies.

in the end I managed to get every trophy in TSW3 PS5 except for 2 and that required me jumping through hoops to do!

 

Well done.
It’s just sad that we can’t actually unlock the trophies when we get them. TSW4 will be the same.

In the end I found everything but two trophies I was unable to unlock the sherman hill tutorial and 100 services on MSB but the rest of the ones above that you could not unlock needed tricks like a new profile to unlock. I hope DTG have figured out why those are dodgy and fixed it for TSW4 but since they never fixed TSW2 143 km with a 143 (the 2nd trophy for a second 143) which was a difficult one to fix as its one that worked until DTG broke it I don't hold out much hope

Remember tsw 2020, some some trophies only unlock in a fresh profile and dtg doesnt have done nothing to fix them, so espect the same for tsw 3 and in the future tsw 4.

 

Im gonna to a trophy unlock progress with TSW4 too, but not with the same DLC as TSW3, so ill do the core game and start the DLC from a later group on TSW4, lol confusing,

That’s me officially retired from TSW3, obviously TSW4 is out today. I might do something similar, but not doing all them groups over again. I see already some trophies are messed up on TSW4, wrong names and spelling in some of them. And some just don’t make sense. It’s quite clear the DTG don’t care about trophy hunters.

I found in the end only 2 TSW3 PS5 trophies did not unlock and the rest listed as well above needed some new account or other tricks to work

 

I got a glitched trophy in TSW4 on PS5 tonight.
Complete Scenario A on Volderberg route.

Completed with platinum medal and no trophy.

 

I don’t remember seeing that one, there are no trophies on PS5 relating to a platinum medal. You sure you reading it right?

 

I just happened to get a platinum medal for completing a scenario but my point is that I should have got a trophy just for completing any scenario on this routecand I did not.

I have 3 completed so far and no trophy so I'm guessing the trophy description is wrong and I must complete all scenarios on this route?

 

You only need to complete International Rescue scenario to get the trophy. Then complete any 3x services for another trophy, and complete OBB Talent 1 training module for the 3rd trophy.
Thats its only 3 trophies for that route.

 

I got training one.
The other is to complete 10 services in the Talent 1.
The last one does not specify which scenario in the description its states just. Complete A Scenario.

Older thread, I know, but is the base game for TSW3 trophy list really as simple as I found in the list on psnprofiles.com? 15 trophies and all seem like super easy to get.

Like, drive any train for 500 miles as the longest distance for the longest distance trophy? Like, for real? Considering the TSW2020 trophy list, which can take years to complete, and even TSW2 with its 10,000 miles trophy, this has to be a "walk in the park" platinum trophy?
