So i need the dot pointer for the reticle to be Large as in a thick circle. My response while running is to place to the signal side of the track as my reminder in my scan that i am always watching for that next signal. Sailplane pilots put a short wool string on the lower outer center of the windscreen of their cockpit ... and sailors do the same on sails apt to under-pergorm without the telltale clue. So it is with my reticle ring. Now it doesn't bug me. I might not need it if reticle movement slowed on entering the fring of a cab control target. This would be done with a kind of invible widget in ehich the true hotspot is centred ? Does playstation permit this marker velocity reduction ? XBox ? With the wee dot movement i miss and miss and miss again ... but also need to get to the target region on time. Would LCD panes and CRT panes allow slower reticle displacement within their bounds ? Hopeful for TSW 4 and 5, r Maritime Canada no longer soaring or sailing as pilot or skipper PS In a tunnel, even with zoom full, i am unable to get the reticle on the spot of light at the end of a tunnel ... short or long. You try it and you will find your physical distance from my physical limitations. Yes, most would turn off the reticle when it stops moving ... auto off ... but i most often need to plan its next use at least on a Playstation ...
Oh something like a sticky reticle? That would be a very helpful assist to have. I have trouble switching on cab lights while train is moving sometimes myself. Ps, I am on Playstation myself. The thumbstick control definitely can be tricky for fine control.
I feel your pain. This precise reason is why I moved away from consoles to gaming pcs. Console controllers are a PIA I know Matt is really keen in making the game more accessible, so maybe drop him a DM?
