Picking this game up again post-Add-Ons manager, I thought I'd go back and wrap up some odds and ends. This has to have been reported somewhere before I but I haven't seen it. The initial GWE intro scenario (look up and down, awarded AP, etc.) is busted for me. The first thing I notice is that you can open the door to enter the cab, but not if you pass through the blue directional cone first (per the tutorial). If you try to be tricky and open the door first then come back to it, the game won't let you sit in your assigned seat to further the tutorial. If anyone has a workaround, please let me know! I'd think this would be a priority for the team. Most of know our way around TSW but this tutorial is the first area a lot of new players are going to head into, and it literally does not work. For me, on PS5 anyway.
Same here, after touching the objective marker to board the train, I lose all ability to open doors, sit down, everything bar open the menu... This also makes the trophy for completing all the GWE training modules unobtainable... Which is a shame, thought we were done with busted trophies. The introduction itself is probably best being removed in its entirety now anyway with the training centre existing.
I've come to the conclusion that this intro was never supposed to be in TSW3 in the first place. It's a legacy asset from TSW1 that somehow managed to make its way into the TSW3 menus. Getting a fix now will be next to impossible, and yes, that does mean a missing trophy.
Maybe they will put this out on TSW4, but don‘t believe it… So bothering. Actually trying to check some easy open trophies on TsW3 before TSW4. Started with SEH. All introductions doesn‘t pop. Did next GWE. Impossible. …
I just encountered this too, and can't get the GWE training trophy because of it. It would be best to remove this legacy "Train Sim World Introduction" module from GWE as a quick fix for the achievement! DTG please help us out here!
I checked on TSW3 Xbox and this introduction isn't there (there are 5 training modules). So looks like something that probably isn't supposed to be there anymore.
Yes, this makes sense because the add-on manager hasn't been rollout out to XBOX iirc. So this issue only affects the PlayStation users (both PS5 and PS4 versions have 6 trainings modules under GWE) DTG Matt sorry for the tag, but please please please, can this be resolved either by fixing or removing the "Train Sim World Introduction" module from GWE, or lowering the GWE training trophy requirements to 5 out of 6. Either solution would work and they don't sound too time consuming. Thanks for looking into it!
So, finally for TSW4 the messing up introduction is removed, but trophy still not unlocking for me. Replayed all 5 training modules (imported profile). Maybe I‘ll try with a new profile some time but actually don‘t want to do this again again
Just a quick shout out to DTG Matt and the team for fixing this in TSW3. The trophy is now obtainable again! Thank you!! And also if possible, please fix (or just lower the requirement to 1 module/service) the other two TSW3 trophies that no one ever got on PS5.
