Yep, this is an issue right now that has to do with the latest Windows 10 update. Some conflict with TSW and the latest 2019-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 (KB4489899). Since installing that update I have the same issue that you and others have been having (TSW instant crashes after the Dovetail logo screen), but if you uninstall it, TSW works perfectly fine. Luckily for us, Windows 10 uninstalling updates is a very quick and easy process, but I do hope DTG gets on this.
That is strange as to how and why that update is only effecting certain users and not others. I have not yet run into this situation yet myself,as you say hopefully DTG can figure out a patch or Microsoft sends out another patch to fix what they messed up.
