German Loco 6+ Months

Could it be the Br420 we are waiting for over 2 years now? Or will it be a completely new locomotive.

If we look on TSC one of the most used locos is the Br 189. This one would be great for cargo services in Switzerland, Germany and Austria

The 420 hasn't been abandoned don't worry. Tsg has confirmed many times it's still opened to come

The 189 is a lovely loco in TSC, especially the sounds - a refreshing change from screeching TRAX!

 

Please no, the 189 in TSC is one of the baddest products ever made. The sound is bad, no functions.

The problem is that the TSC products from dtg are really bad. Dtg started with better trains in TSW but now they are letting the quality fall down again like on the 4024

 

There are good products but in TSC there are just no good products. But the main factor of the hate on TSW are some third party developers like shyhook games. Releasing a Loco with such bad sounds. U could get Deaf of it. The next problem is that in Germany there isn't something like a real team to record the sounds. If I read the messages of one of the TSG workers. I can pick out of the messages that he records the sounds alone

 

I really hope we get some really new EMUs and DMUs in TSW. On the EMU side I'd like Twindex or similar (Doppelstock EMU) which become more and more frequent and replacing the older loco-hauled Doppelstock trains. As for DMUs, the LINT would be very important as it is one of the key Diesel tractions in Germany.

 

Bombardier is hell, if u need to take their trains in real life u want to blow this things up

 

Just because it was poor in tsc doesn't mean it will be terrible in tsw. I know terrible things in tsc that are really good in tsw.

Also, you are still on the topic of sound recordings which has been discussed to death already. Even with a dedicated team which they do, they can't always record a real train. I want you to go ahead and get professional sound recordings from every single toc and see how easy is it for you. These can't be recordings done on your phone or station recordings. Actually attaching microphones to a train and running it on the mainline at speed. Until you've done it,

The 187 they couldn't get recordings because of covid. Eventually someone sent them recordings of a 187 which isn't implemented great. Have no idea what was used to obtain it.

Horseshoe curve: skyhook asked the community for audio, but also idk how it was sourced.

Mml: skyhook bought sounds from Armstrong Powerhouse, but dtg did the entire audio and physics, so not skyhook

 

Yep but some real Ice's. Not some slow ICE T or TD. 200 and 230kmh is not Highspeed in my opinion

 

Shyhook should not be developing stuff for TSW. That's my opinion

ICE 2 is one of the most hated trains in Germany. I don't think that much people would like it.

 

Why do people not like the ICE2?

 

It has no power, It just manages 280kmh. And that is hard for the 402. It's just a ICE1 but without one Loco. So it just has half of the power. But there are more things Like the air conditioner

I think that was the point of the ICE 2, as half of an ICE 1. It's so it could be used on routes with shorter platforms, or with less passenger demand. Also, they were coupled together to basically form an ICE 1 itself, and be split at stations to go in different directions. I think the main reason why the ICE 2s are not liked is due to the fact that they do not have a restaurant, or private Compartments. It's all just airline style seats and tables. Also, when the cab car leads, it's limited to 250, instead of 280 when the Power car leads.

 

The ICE2 does have a restaurant - a full coach - it just isn't humped like the ICE1 was. I've always liked them, albeit not as much as ICE1s.

For me an ICE-T or IC2 would make sense - I'm not a huge fan the latter for what they represent but they are commonly seen now. Failing that, an einheitslok for freight on Linke Rheinstrecke like a 140 or 151.

The most urgent, is of course, the Bpmdzf, ARKimbz266 and for LR, the WRmz coaches. If they had to come with a new loco, a 120 would make sense, or more variants of the 101/103

Which version DTG Aerosoft or Virtual Railroads the one with C-Akv couplers for Iron Ore runs

 

The way I see this DB BR189 with C-Akv is just like TSC Virtual Railroads DB BR193 Vectron which can then become the Austrian 1293 Vectron. Even older West Germany DB BR150 191 East Germany DR BR211/242 Holzroller DR BR119 U-Boot

That is your opionion. I beg to differ. I find the modern trains very interesting, whether they are Bombardier, Stadler, Siemens or Talgo.

 

What services does the ICE3 neo do? same as ice3?
All i know is that it will do services across the border in france along LGV est but i dont know if it does anything else.

 

I’ve driven both 152s and 189s in real life (as well as 185s and 186s) and I can confirm that they’re both leaps and bounds ahead of TRAXXs. Much better comfort, more pleasing sounds, softer traction control, more power and more reliable.

I wouldn’t put it that strongly. They wouldn’t be this wide-spread if they’re complete trash. They do their job. They’re not overly reliable and constantly scream STÖRUNG in your face no matter what you do but they are cheaper than the Siemens offering.
