The New Haven line will be a nice DLC along with the Kawasaki M8. Please add this to Train Sim World 4.

Well since they didn’t follow all of the instructions and I want this route, I’ll add some details.

The New Haven Line is a 72 mile long line belonging to the MTA’s Metro-North Railroad, running from New Haven State Street (though most trains terminate at New Haven Union Station) in New Haven, CT to Grand Central Terminal in NYC. The route also feature 3 branches to New Canaan, Danbury, and Waterbury, CT ranging from 8-27 miles in length. Trains are predominately operated by the M8, with additional service from Amtrak North East Regionals and Acela from New Haven to New Rochelle, after which the Amtrak services change lines to serve Penn Station. From Mount Vernon to GCT the New Haven line shares trackage with the Harlem Line, which is already in TSW. This line would be interesting for the varied service patterns of Metro-North, the layering opportunities for Amtrak and Harlem line M7As and M3As, and finally, the power change. Around the location where Amtrak splits off, the M8s change from AC overhead power to DC third rail, something we have seen modeled in TSW already. Additionally, given the M8s also operate on Shore Line East (New Haven east to New London) with the same livery, there are many layering opportunities available at New Haven Union. This route would also give players the opportunity to drive the shortest route Amtrak offers, New Haven State Street to New Haven Union, which is also the cheapest possible fare you can get on Amtrak.
