yeah but the door controls will be messed up in your example unless DTG decides to fix that which i believe will happen because 182s with IC cars should layer into Vorarlberg as the screenshots showed
does that mean Taurus x Intercity will finally be ture then? like, there are ideas of making 182s sub into 101's IC services but if the door control wouldn't work the AI would get stuck for eternity... but if it gets fixed? hell yeah. for all 182s or only the MRCE one from HBK? (the ones in the one screenshot look like the ones from HBK)
Interesting point. The closest we have to any vintage US rolling stock are the MBTA cars. Ignoring the push pull aspect, I assume it would be feasible to haul these with a Clinchfield F7 A/B lash up?
probably not as most of them are fixed planned formations like the ICE 3, however we MIGHT be able to change the lengths of the ICE 1 since in TSW the individual middle cars work on their own and can be coupled with lets say the head cars, I also once made one with 43 cars, but since there are also british, american and other railfans from other countries, idk, maybe we can actually make a 12 car class 700? or something else...
Well, but connecting double-decker coaches, IC or n coaches with other locomotives is actually possible.

187 with Dostos is a rather bad idea. The door controls on the loco itself are nonexistent and on the control car you'd have to set the reverser to neutral, best is if we get an actual 147 Taurus with IC cars (with Flixtrain livery or whatever) will soon enough be possible, Matt said the opposital door opening control will be fixed IIRC Sandwich
I also hope the Vectron's door control works both on IC cars and Dosto cars without any issues, but IC first, for the Flixtrain!

I strongly believe so. They said you can use your own formations with Free Roam, the Free Roam formation selector menu looks the same as the one for timetable mode formation selection and scenario planner selection, so you can do that, yes
