Insults On This Forum

Moderators should start banning some of these trolls that think insults are the way to go.

If you get 3 Xs to your name then a 3 month ban.

Just saying as the trolling is getting bad here.

In one thread I have had accusations of me being on drugs.

Excuse me but this is not warranted.

Those that are delving in trolling will not get my input again.

You can stay under the bridge.

All for a post where I made some positive comment on Train Sim World.

And those of you dishing out insults can't even name one bug.

So if you are used to dishing out insults beware, don't do it in this thread.

I merely made the point that the complaints were over the top and I could enjoy the Midland Mainline.

Come on mods, OP is blatantly trolling now.

 

Obviously no one should be insulting you and it's sad that they are, but you should also understand why people often get into arguments with you.

You're fine to enjoy and make positive comments on tsw we all have at some point and I definitely do, but to completely ignore and disregard the real issues that people are experiencing and make tsw out like it's a perfect game is I think were people have the problem with your posts.

The issue isn't you liking the game, but it's how you say it and treat people for it. You can't seem to accept other players views that bugs exist in tsw.

You had a post in another thread where you bashed a player for not being able to list 10 bugs and you decided to proceed and say "you can't name 10 bugs, no bugs exist in tsw" and treated him like he just lied about there being bugs in tsw. You just can't seem to say okay and move on rather than insulting someone for disagreeing with your viewpoint. Just because it doesn't affect you doesn't give you the right to insult people.

 

I was moderated I knew it but apart from that, the problem is that you’re making multiple posts/threads where you’re calling us “liars” when we point out bugs and game-breaking glitches on the game, you’re enjoying the game we got it, but you can’t say we’re wrong when many people are complaining and the bugs section of the forum is filled with complains…

 

It's great you enjoy the game, but as was said by others before, you're mistaking criticism for complaint. There was a thread were you stated noone could give you an example of a bug - please do respect that many players are expecting the game to be improved and fixed, which means working on issues reported in the Technical Reports subforum. Improvement comes through feedback, and if everyone just was so easy to please, great, but the reality is different. And reporting issues brings the game forward, you will benefit from these "complainers" too.

I would like to have the wipers remove the rain from my GWE HST - is that complaining or a valid request in a modern Train Sim? If I had access to the files, it would probably take me an hour to fix that (that's why I'm glad TSC is so accessible). Why does it take months for DTG? A user making a video for DTG's support to show the bug (can't they just start a random service themselves on the company PC? Do they actually play their own game?), and then no confirmation at all for weeks. That is frustrating.

These are rightfully asked questions, so please don't complain about people doing so. I'm pretty sure most of us on this forum are passionate TSW players, so things can heat up quickly just because we all care for TSW - else we wouldn't discuss it at all.

I actually enjoy Midland Main Line too, but if a route is not worth the high retail price because DTG have cut corners on it, then people should be able to call it out. That is not a negative post that is a truthful post. I think the OP needs to be careful what he says because otherwise he/she is going to get a reputation as a fanboy looking at products through DTG tinted spectacles.

Oh please, the OP literally just made a thread accusing that people who run into bugs, are actually just incompetent & don’t know what they’re doing.

Also OP has been sighted slandering various forum members, in other TSW groups.

 

If he's creating comedy aren't we supposed to laugh? I know humour has mostly left society these days, but hopefully it can be preserved in some spaces.

I've said it before but I'll say it again. Making the distinction between the position and the person is important. If its an idiotic position by all means call it out, sometimes robustly, but when you start to reference the person it's time to go for a walk and clear your head in order to be more coherent in your rebuttals.

 

I may have my personal quibbles with poster but I will not discuss that unless it is necessary to put my point of view across:

First of all what is an insult because I have been called a troll and insulting by yourself for saying that I wouldn't want to see Le Mans (Edit: for clarity he had suggested the whole racetrack with cars to drive and races to take part in) in TSW. That was by no means trolling or insulting and for the most part that thread today wasn't what I would call an unexpected response as like a volcano people can only hold so much in before they let it all out.

Anyhow I had a whole analytical breakdown of your forum history typed out but decided to delete it in case the facts insulted anyone and I am sure Jan would have me on his naughty list due to the amount of editing he probably would have had to have done!

I will leave you with a phrase I think you need to really remember going into the future on these forums:
'If your happy to dish it it out, also be ready to eat it back up again.'

 

Yes let’s just ignore all the problems with the game. I’m sorry to break it to you but despite what I know you think, TSW is a massively flawed game and this is the space we are directed to to give feedback.

 

And as I said in his other thread, most people here take a middle view of TSW. There are good parts and bad parts and we will praise and criticise in equal measure. We are all different, not clones with identical mindsets.

Forums exist to represent that cross section of views and seeking to have people banned because they might not share one particular sentiment is somewhat over the top. DTG know themselves their product can be flawed and some of their marketing decisions can be... questionable. Credit to them that they allow fair and open discussion.

 

Take your own advice. It is rude to more or less state than everyone is objectively incorrect because your opinion differs.

Not to mention that it doesn't matter how much evidence they provide you, they are still wrong and you're still correct. Doesn't work that way in the society.

The assertion that the complaints are "over the top" is just false. Train Sim World's problems are inexcusable, and the developers must be held accountable. Your failure to recognise this is not just foolish, but also detrimental to the community.

 

No-one is looking great atm. Time to let it go or lock the thread imho.

 

If you blatantly put yourself in the firing line by making outlandish statements like you did, then expect some flak. Dont go whinging when someone does not agree with your opinion.

Honestly, how does anyone ever think making a thread calling out people for calling them names is going to end?

It's quite understandable that some folks aren't going to give the benefit of the doubt to someone doing that, that they aren't just trying to incite precisely this kind of result, and naturally a bunch of other folks are going to respond poorly to rightly or wrongly perceiving this as an attack on them. It's always a losing proposition to make such a post unless the OP genuinely is a bad faith actor trying to provoke stuff. Just take specific examples directly to the mods.
