Are there any freight sitting in sidings or any trains to pass along the route?

 

Not unless you own extra DLC. Its so dumb that they didn't include a single engine and a stack car, because that would have improved the route so much...

Yes, but they won't exist in TSW4 until the 26th.

 

If you actually copy any of the TSW3 routes into TSW4, the services actually show up in the menu.

But don't actually try and do it, as TSW3 content isn't baked for TSW4 and causes the game to crash.
