Virgin trains voyager passing towards Holyhead while a Class 150/2 from Arriva Trains Wales stops at Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch on the North Wales Coastal Extension.

I need some practice to start even pronouncing it, there is a help sign at the left, but then it is not something that you do easily.

OK I know I've posted this one before but I think it fits the theme well. This famous view of Newcastle Central taken from the castle (if you look closely you'll see the photographer's shadow) shows a busy morning in the late '70s. A railtour headed by V2 Green Arrow gets all the attention while a Deltic, already displaced from top-link services by the Inter-City 125s, pulls away for Edinburgh. A double-headed MGR train takes the avoiding lines. The route and most of the assets are ECML (North), the V2 is from the Settle Carlisle Steam Specials pack.

EE Type 2s (later Class 20) cross Lands viaduct on the descent from Cockfield Fell. The driver will be more concerned with his brakes than the view and oblivious to the B1 coasting down the Haggerleases branch with empties to Butterknowle.

Edit too late but in case anyone's interested: Nuts- I forgot to include the background info'. Well the route is The Weardale and Teesdale Network in the '60s with the B1 and Type 2 bought separately.

Ok guys, so this week again we were faced with quite a challenge in choosing the winners as you all did amazingly well. Railfan722 I really liked your screenshot of Promontory Summit but unfortunately it was wrong resolution so we cannot use it!

Anyway, congrats Rob Jansen once again, great shot of the Bernina Pass, pretty sure I've seen it before but I don't think it ever won! Great capture of this beautiful route.

    Thanks TrainSim-Dmitri , Michael, Joe :)

It could be that it has been entered before or from another angle, can't remember exactly. I try to do different ones but sometimes one that has been posted could be use for another theme too.
I do know that it didn't win before, I don't enter those again.
