Just tried the patch on my PS5 for ECML. I can happily confirm that the safety systems are now audible. I can also confirm platinum medals are now available. However (DTG Matt), I just repeated a service I could only get a gold medal on previously in order to get the platinum medal and whilst I got the platinum medal this time, it hasn’t been added to my total medal count within my profile. The gold medal I was awarded previously wasn’t added to my profile either, so it appears there is an issue with medals on ECML being reflected on player profiles.
Do you have controller audio on? Seen a couple replies elsewhere saying this was causing an issue. You can turn it off in the PS5 settings.

Not sure about tunnels, but still getting it on other structures such as gantries. I’ll throw an 801 down near a tunnel shortly and check it out.
It was the reverb and definite change in audio as the train passed under bridges, tunnels, gantries etc. It has completely disappeared on PC since the patch.
I still think the sounds are too quiet. AWS warnings should come across as an immediate alert to danger, not a gentle "ahem". It is an improvement though, although having the tunnel/ under bridge noises turned down is disappointing. I wonder if DTG simply forgot to turn those sounds up along with all the others.
no difference to me so hard to hear even after giving my ears a clean lol. also i did a morning service from peterborough to doncaster at about 0730 time and go no AWS warnings near doncaster and around there. still difficult getting back into the cab using the right stick having using outside looks, having to press lots of times to get back inside. im using PS 5
The sound inside of the LNER 801 Azuma is very quite when i put on the safety system i can't hear it so i start slowing down i have never had this problem before please fix it I am on PS5
