Xbox Series X Crashes

During early access I had no crashes at all now I have nearly all dlc installed I'm getting crashes in menu's and in game with no error messages I had 4 crashes in 2 hours. Was trying to play along with matt on stream and crashed twice once with vectron and the other with talent 1. Then it crashed while loading game from cold twice . Crashed while going back to main menu when completed a run. All in inside 3 hrs . Pretty much un playable now. Ist service to crash was 49765 wolfurt to lindau routine at 9 15 clear weather custom. 2nd crash was s1 25803 landau to bludenz 6.19. Custom weather light cloud,both in September. Xbox series x

 

I’m on Xbox X series.

I have the Deluxe version, and today I was able to download, all my games DLC preserved (evening 256go total game) .... problem ... since the game crash!!! either at the loading page, or by selecting a line... back Xbox home screen. I enrage a little.

the game is not tested before being put on the market?

player since the game TSW preview Xbox! TSW 2 tsw 3 . I have all the DLC... and I find myself with a new game, which crash!

 

Did it give you an error message, if so can you remember what it was?

 

Same problem here but when it does load I tried ecml using azusa and Scotsmen in full timetable and it instantly goes to dashboard. Nit tried reduced yet will be very disappointed if I can't use full timetable. You just crashed to dashboard while trying to boot up. Not played now fir hr and half what a joke. Appears random if it will boot up at all.got nearly all dlc installed minus around 10 not sure exactly.

on console Xbox Série x, there is no message... black screen, return to home! 2 times out of 3 when launching the game... if the game manages to launch, black screen on certain road/train DLCs!

Exemple :
free range, S-Bahn Vorarlberg + mrce BR 182 ... crash, returns dashboard Xbox
East coast main Line Doncaster Peterborough + class 47 green, returns dashboard Xbox

I'm having the same issue, except I can't get it to load at all. Just loading splash screen for a few minutes, then back to Xbox home.

 

Far as I can make out on ecml full timetable does not work on Series X I've tried multiple services using scotman and azuma just goes to dashboard. Reduced does load in . Looking at other people are having issues on other routes aswell.

 

release the game (tsw4), without having the possibility of playing its old purchases (I have been on Train sim World since the preview which was released on the console!!)... then 2, 3... , except 2 add on ALL purchases DLC !!
that's a very nice sum of money left at DTG, with, in addition, now train sim world 4!! I admit to being very angry!! because in addition to the bugs still present since (crackling sound, my invalid tasks in TSW4), I cannot enjoy my game!!

Same problem for me, i'm on series X, Deluxe edition, all DLC install for TSW4, and the game is very unstable.
As others said above, crash when launching the game or when loading a route.
The game crashed to dashboard and in a really random way, sometimes it remains stable for a while and crash.

 

I am experiencing crashes at loading screen, and if I am lucky enough to get the game loaded, it crashes once I select main menu after completing a run.

 

Same here. On the series X. Crashes at loading screen. If the game manage to load, it will crash after I drove a train and select the back to main menu button. Also noticed crashes from Training center, going back to Training center Loco menu.

 

Further to my previous post.....If I am lucky to get the game loaded, I can only do one task, finish it, and the Game will crash once I interact with any buttons after the rating screen.

 

Same here, on x box series s. 80 dlcs installed, just crashes to home everytime. Tried all the troubleshooting, and nothing works. Submitted a ticket already.

 

Same here. TSW 4, Xbox Series X, about 2/3 of all DLCs

All DLCs installed (except GWE/New Journeys/RT, as entitlements haven't carried over yet), Xbox Series X, crashes on the splash screen, haven't even managed to load into any menus yet.

 

I am on the Xbox Series X,band gave 69 add ons installed.

It crashes with a 50% rate at the loading screen ( One crash per startup quarantined) Once I am in the game,cI can perform one service or scenario, and after the rating screen, as soon as I click on any button to go back to the main menu, it crashes again.

 

Also, just noticed that Harlem Lines causes a crash immediately when selecting a scenario on it.

 

Once a crash happens from the running game, it is even more difficult to get past the loading screen crashes.

 

OK, so I am able to start Harlem line now, which means there is then also some random crashes, apart from the loading screen and back to main menu crashes.

I’ve literally had two crashes in like 3 minutes from them

 

I’m on Xbox X. Early access deluxe edition worked perfectly. Installed all DLCs overnight. Now can’t get past TSW4 splash screen without crashing out to desktop.

I’m on Xbox X with all DLCs installed. I’ve managed to get past the splash screen once without crashing back to desktop, loaded ECML full timetable but crashed immediately on selecting to spawn on foot. I’ve put a support ticket in (62528)

 

It seems symptomatic for TSW4 filled with legacy addons, I honestly doubt the QR examine that setup at all.

please look above, I gave an example of a crash, with what scenario and what train. In the case of both examples, impossible to launch and return to the home screen 100%.

This morning I did notice it started a lot faster than yesterday.
Yesterday was taking a long time to load TSW4

the problem is that sometimes the crash just comes from a train!! As mentioned, I got a dashboard Xbox Série X feedback by selecting the MRCE BR 182 + S Bahn Vorarlberg train!
BR class 700/0 EMU = crash !
Glossop Line + scénario you are from the region = crash

Etc etc etc

Basically, you have to uninstall all of the Add ons from TSW TSW 2 TSW 3 !! Great. I very happy.

 

I have all addons, except:
1) HSC skins,
2) Arosa skins,
3) ICE skins,
5) and Class 52 for WSR)
6) and of course Holiday Express

300gb of free space

 

Same problem for me on series x game is slow at loading and alot of stuttering not good really the game hasn't been out long and already problems

 

Same problem for me on XSX, no problem during early access, fast loading, no crashes, now I have slow loading, crashes to desktop every 5 mins or everytime I load into something it doesn’t like, this is very poor in my opinion

 

Im struggling with crashes on Series X too

I have 283.2GB installed (Base game + 86 add-ons, only New Journeys missing). All installed on the internal hard drive, and there's 331GB free space. System was last updated 21/09/2023 and was last checked this morning, 27/09/2023.

I have restarted the console, turned it off and unplugged it to clear the cashe, and I've also uninstalled all TSW2 & TSW3 content.

After 5 attempts, it did load up. I completed the Training centre 11 Rail Journeys, then tried to do the ECML Cl 801 introduction... whilst loading it crashed to xbox home screen. 3 more attempts to load the game, I've just tried to start the Cl 801 introduction again, and it's crashed to the home screen again

Restarts xbox, another 2 crashes loading the game, game loads up, tries to start Cl 801 introduction... crashes again

 

Hi Jan,

I have 82 DLC installed, running Xbox Series X. I've tried clearing the cache per JD's suggestion to no avail. I can't even get to the point where I can load a service. The support ticket I have is 62488.

I hope this can get resolved soon; perhaps it's time to fast track the content manager for Xbox?

 

Same here on series S. No issues on early access. Installed all DLC except the unavailable journey pack yesterday and did a run on ECML and now that game doesn't even finish loading before CTDing.
