I have been waiting to buy TSW4 until i read what early opters had experienced and it sound like it's still in a beta state.Dispite being released.So what should one do?

 

definetly buy it except you have your worries. but I think it is (was*) a good deal honestly, all the new features, it's worth it

*because of the discounts, now it costs more of course, unfortunately

 

Wait a bit. Depending on what platform you are on, there will be sales further down the line so you could wait for that or wait until tsw5 releases to buy it for cheaper

 

we'll see if that ever happens, don't wanna let 'em wait 3 years though

 

There's gonna be a nice HumbleBundle offer next year.

 

I'm on a XBOX ONE- S (disc drive version).But planning to upgrade to a series X sometime around the holidays this year.

 

Watch YouTube footage on both platforms, read reviews from both platforms. In short, do research.

 

Play whatever version you already have and wait for this current version to be in a state that you will accept. Simple.

 

Plus I am sure loads of the legacy routes will go on sale in Steam's Autumn Sale in late November

 

Well you clearly didn't wait all that long if you have purchased it already

 

There'll be a Steam sale in October/November.

 

I figured i had a 50/50 chance so why not.But i have only downloaded the training center and nothing else.I was surprise to find not only a br 66 but a 8F and a br 323 and a few wagons,coaches and in my short time with them so far so good.BTW i bought the standard with the 3 core routes.Next will have to take the next step and try the routes but will take it one step at a time.
