Add a monthly subscription with all the dlc in the game rather than buying the old ones or an ultimate version with all the dlc
No. Nobody would support it. First issue is that it creates more disparity between those who have a sub and those who don't. Like how trainz did it where those who subbed got the fastest download speeds while does who didn't get a sub resulted in downloads taking days. It also doesn't compensate fairly to any developer since only a very small portion of a subscription will end up to the developer after accounting for any development costs. Imagine $10 a month for dlc for 1 person. Let's say like 6 routes release by dtg and 3rd parties. Platforms take a cut of the money, publisher takes a cut, leaving only a few dollars to be shared among every developer. Remember dtg are also a business and developers require money and a profit is required to run a company
Also I buy my dlc it’s mine to play as long as I want. on a sub no matter how much I’ve paid the day I stop paying I can’t play it (even if I’ve paid 3-4 times the cost of the dlc by this point)
This subscription idea has been raised several times already and it was a definite no. Personally the day it happens will be the last day I play TSW. I’m not paying for a game that I don’t get to keep when I stop paying.
