But why is there no GP discount for TSW4-compatible DLC?

TSW4 is not on GamePass, so I wouldn't expect to see a GamePass discount applied to that content.

 

Hmmm... so then the issue is not that TSW4 content has no discount, but rather that the TSW3 content still has a discount, although the game is no longer in the GP catalogue.

When it comes to older content, you may aswell get the oldest version, it grants access to it on the older version TSW aswell as the new (should you have it and want to use it for whatever reason)

 

Saved half the cost of NYT and the Acela by purchasing the TSW 3 versions instead of the TSW 4 version by doing this on Steam

 

Yeah right now you save 10 % if buying the same DLC for TSW3 instead of TSW4 on Xbox.
It was the same last year when TSW3 came out.
So you can buy the cheaper TSW3 DLC and install it on TSW4
