Driving though tunnels in TSW4 (PS5 version), with the external camera, is no fun anymore. I always drive with the external camera positioned in front of the loco. Everytime a train goes through a tunnel, the screen goes crazy and I always have to reposition the camera again. This happens with all the routes and tunnels. This wasn’t the case in TSW3 (although not perfect either). Please correct this in a next update.
This happens to me too on PS4 as I like to use the external cameras a lot also and like you say, the game has a fit when entering a tunnel or sometimes going under a bridge.
The same is true for the PC Steam version. With an external camera On the London-Brighton route, there is a tunnel where the top and bottom are upside down. In addition, common to all routes, there is also a sudden movement that zooms out high overhead and lands again, like a drone. Under bridges and tunnels flash amazingly. It's a shame because there are multiple things that would be better if the correction speed was faster. The link below is still unfixed after release, so it's too late to send tickets. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...ffic-light-at-the-station-in-the-image.74562/
Agree with everything said.. it was always an issue with the camera displacing itself and jumping around uncontrollably but only in a handful of locations, whereas now with tsw4 it's at EVERY tunnel entrance and exit. london to brighton is a great example, as every tunnel on that route had zero issues until now, where now every tunnel suddenly has this issue. ecml has the same problem (with two tunnels and three separate bridges) i really hope this can be fixed and reverted back to how it used to be, i almost exclusively drive with external camera positioned at the front of the train and it's made that much harder now! a longer term solution here would be to add a front nose/front facing external camera view as a selectable option (so we don't need to manually position the camera this way every time) which would be incredible if implemented
