It looks like someone forgot to add the rain effects for the windows of the BR442 Talent. All other TSW4 locos do have these effects. When you drive the Talent, the windows stay crystal clear... And unlike similar DB locos, the brightness of the Displays cannot be changed, only contrast works. It would be fine if this could be repaired ! Otherwise remove the "NEW" Tag from this loco.
After todays (23.10.03) update still no rain effects... Can we at least expect this for the next update ? Remember this is not some sort of vintage content, it was published with TSW4, for which WE PAID FOR !
Knowing their pace, it might get fixed in 6-12 months. If you are lucky, the patch actually releases for TSW4 as well!
In all seriousness, how in hell does this keep happening? Depressingly it seems to have become a ‘thing’. Whatever needs to be done to rectify this and make sure it never happens again please do it.
Here I am discovering this thread, 6 months down the line, when I accidentally came across this bug now. Well, at least they did not break three other things by not patching this, so there's glass half full...
It makes you wonder if they actually run through a methodic check of content features and functionality before a release. If they don’t, then why the heck not? Is their no one responsible for quality control in DTG?
Well, judging by their total ignorance after reporting bugs like this one (besides acknowledging it, if at all), where these are almost never patched in the end, it does not really even matter if they run any QA or not. It seems they simply do not care if it is patched, regardless of when the bug is found.
