So the patch notes said: BR 801 Azuma The gangway between coaches will now be properly connected with electrical wiring equipment. But just took the 801/2 out for a spin, and the power cables still aren't connected to the opposite side, and pull away when the train goes round bends.
I haven't got the patch at all on playstation I wonder if it releases at midnight just gonna have to wait and see.
Yeah it's definitely not fixed on Steam, but the question is what was it the actual gangways or the wiring that was supposedly fixed?
Is it from the latest patch ? It looks like the gangways are still not fixed, it’s still one big straight block and not two flexibles gangways…
Well the cables weren't connected before the patch, that's the same since the ECML stream before the game released. Not sure on the gangways though, I didn't even know they wasn't flexible until you said.
DTG Matt DTG Alex sorry for the tag guys but can we get some clarification on what was fixed in regards to the 801? Was it the gangways or the cabling? Because I don't think either got fixed from yesterdays patch.
After checking with development, it looks like the gangways between coaches weren't updated, I've re-opened the ticket so we can aim to get a resolution to this in an upcoming patch.
Thanks Alex, would this also fix the cables to be flexible and being attached at the other end as well?
Disappointing to see this isn’t fixed as stated in the patch notes Hopefully the non-bending gangways and oddly moving cables will be fixed ASAP. It really ruins what is otherwise a very nicely modelled Azuma.
Hi DTG Alex DTG Matt, this appears to be still unfixed as of 26/11/23. Thought of just re-following up. With the cables and gangways not bending realistically, it gives a bit of an awe feeling to drive the 801 Azuma. really hoping that this gets patched very very soon.
Don't expect it to get fixed. It has been the same for the M3 on Harlem Line since release and it was never fixed.
