While driving, i position the Map view where i want it. The Triangle button SHOULD hold that view as it does hold the view of the external camera once i have positioned that view. Seems obvious. Think of it this way: Triangle sets your position once loc door opens, once you are in the loco, if you step off the platform and need to position yourself back up on the platform ... r Canada trying to be patient as i encounter flaw after flaw ... yet lack the obvious !
I’m sorry but it’s quite hard to understand what you’re talking about. The way I’m interpreting this is you want a way for the in-game map to remember your last cursor location and not default back to the player location when you close and open it again. That would indeed be nice, especially for e.g. shunting. Perhaps an option like “remember map cursor position” could be added to the settings.
