Epic Games Compatible Content Missing

For me epic's business practices is unbelievable and unacceptable. Firing people (which I feel very sorry for the employees) is a business decision of the management, for whatever reasons, but it can not be that the customers are not delivered the agreed service, which they have paid in full! The date of the launch was welk known, but epic kept the customers in the dark obviously.
It can also not be that DTG simply pushes the responsibility for its distributors away from itself and does not get the problem solved! I expect that DTG now finally ensures that the performance is fully delivered!

 

It's not dtg's fault though. It is dependent on epic games who have issues internally including hundreds of workers being laid off. Dtg can only tell them, but with less staff on epic's end, it will take time until it gets released

 

Last year when we had the exact same problem it took a month before it was sorted and alot people had to go through the rigamarole of an Epic support ticket to get all their content. If Epic is indeed even more discombobulated this year it doesn't bode well for a speedy resolution.

DTG JD , can you confirm that Epic deliver updates?

 

I did receive the 3rd october update on epic.

And don't blame this on DTG. Working with 3rd parties is often just a random lottery.
Everything will be sorted in the end, it can just take some time. This is a bundle issue, not an updates issue....Now it is just waiting on Epic.

Just help them where you can with providing what is missing and stop nagging.

In my case i'm not even missing most of the missing content (maybe just rhtt ). There is so much new content to explore, so i don't even miss it.

They have been doing a wonderful job since the release to get everything sorted on so many 3rd party platforms, all of which have their own quirks.

So, if anything, a great thank you to all DTG employees from me!

 

Hello. Ist there anything in progress? I'm still waiting and nothing seems to be going on. Will the missing DLCs appear at some point? Please take care of this quickly. After all, I paid money for it.

I have now access to London Commuter and Boston-Providence, Loco Add-On bundle 1 and DB BR 423 new journeys. The rest is still missing.

 

1.This morning I received the 3 TSW3 core routes but I'm surprised by the size of those compatible routes:
Cajon: 17.20G compared to 7.92G in TSW3
Schnellfahrstrecke Kessel: 27.21G compared to 10.51G in TSW3
Southeastern Highspeed: 18.54G compared to 7.09G in TSW3
Is that normal?

2.TSW2 core routes are still missing: do I have to install TSW2 in order to get those routes?

Same, all well for TSW3 and Rush Hour routes only TSW2 missing now.

And also the csx SD40 can not be installed, just like the thameslink class 700

 

Yes I have the problem with the CSX SD 40 and the Class 700 too. They are available in the manage add-ons area but if I switch them to be active and click on save changes nothing happens .

 

For me TSW2 Core Routes are still missing.

 

Good progress after last night's update. I seem now just to be missing SFS Kassel-Wurzburg, Cajon Pass, and Spirit of Steam (in other words, TSW3 core routes). The DB BR182 and 1938 Tube Stock, which were both always installed, are now also showing up in game.

Great Western Express is still not showing up despite being installed, and I have the same problem of add-on manager not letting me install the CSX SD40. But hey- 5 missing DLC is better than 19!

 

by me it's the same: the 3 "TSW2 standard edition" core routes are missing

 

Looks like what is still missing across the board is:

1) TSW2 core routes (if we got TSW2 for free during the first week on EGS, what we know since last year's issue uses a different entitlement code)
2) TSW3 core routes (if we bought the TSW3 Deluxe Edition, including Spirit of Steam and SEHS, if we didn't own those route before as a stand-alone DLC)
Both seem to be entitlement issues.

3) GWE (including Diesel Legends)
This seems to be a different issue, since the DLCs show up and are marked as installed in the EGS Add-On Manager, but not in the game.

The issue about the NJ CSX SD40 (shows up on the EPG Add-On Manager, but can't be installed) might be due to Sand Patch Grade (as a TSW2 core route) is still missing and might possibly (but not necessarily) be fixed with Sand Patch Grade being available.

 

TSW2 routes from free week edition just arrived.
TSW3 routes (Deluxe edition) are still missing.
New Journeys - CSX SD40 still doesn't install, even though Sand Patch Grade is in the game now.

 

Got my TSW2 core routes today. Good to see they seem to working through it.

I am still missing the
TSW3 Deluxe routes (CJP, SKW, SoS)
GWE/Diesel Legends and
NJ CSX SD40

 

Wanted to ask about the substitution, which is part of the "compatible content".

Seems on my tsw (steam) the substitution of content is messed up entirely.
For example the cl40 from heavy freight pack doesnt spawn in the timetable (only 45s / 47)
On german routes its even worse, the licos which belong to the route appear, but almost no loco (for example the 187 etc) happens.

Is it just on my version or is it a general problem?

I just bought the class 700 yesterday, and it seems to not install when I tick it in the Add-ons and click "apply changes". It just throws me back to the Library and nothing installs.
On TSW3, it just works fine, but on TSW4, it doesn't.
I tried installing it together with several other DLCs, and when I click Apply changes, everything Installs, excluding the 700 DLC.
Yes, I bought the Train Sim World 4 compatible version, and I'm on Epic.
Can you help please?

 

This is the same problem as some of us are having with the SD40 from New Journeys, if that helps to diagnose things at all.

 

Yes, I have TSW3 Standard edition, and all DLCs are installed on TSW4 too.

That's weird! I have those routes installed and playable.

 

Hello! I've just got home and installed the Class 700 DLC successfully. But when I loaded up the game, I couldn't find the train anywhere.
I tried reinstalling and restarting my computer, but nothing seemed to work.
(One thing i didn't try is reinstalling the SEHS and the 700 together. Should I try that?)

 

Indeed, the SD40 is selectable, de class 700 is not

 

It didn't help, I can use it in TSW3, but not 4.

 

Arrived: GWE, Diesel Legends, NJ CSX SD40
Still missing: CJP, SKW, SoS (by TSW3 Deluxe)

 

I am also still missing CJP, SKW and SEH from TSW3 Standard Edition (pre-order).
The Class 700 is now installed but not selectable in game.
