    Good point - there is also a section of missing OHLE on the northbound approach to Doncaster Decoy Down Lincoln. This would probably be more readily noticed if any freight trains ran with electric traction.

    Understood, but I think line speed is 125, so 125 to 40 would need more than Double Y toY with feather I would have thought - I could quite easily be wrong though.

    Haven't been that way yet, but this video shows flashing yellows for Retford. I think approach release from yellow is quite rare.

    Broken guards panels still the guards panels are broken all you can do is open doors you then have to switch back control to drivers cab how on earth can a glaring bug like this be missed by so called beta testers

    • Specific Information: Several issues with the Class 801 still. Currently holding it back from being near perfect.
    1. On the Class 801/2 the front Pantograph is raised, when it should be the rear Pantograph. The front pantograph being up on the 801/1 is accurate however.
    2. The wiper should be stowed on the right by default, not the left.
    3. The DSD still sounds if you standup with the reverser in neutral.
    4. The cabling between the gangways is still not connected, and clips when the train goes round bends. This is despite the previous patch saying it was fixed.
    5. The trains destination is out of sync from the first stop, it's always one stop ahead of where you are actually going to. This is likely due to the starting point requiring you to open the doors, which moves the destinations one forward, and puts it out of sync.

    Something I’ve noticed is trains not spawning behind you. For example, a 158 between Peterborough and Grantham on the slow lines you would expect to get overtaken by an LNER or two. However there has been nothing on the runs I’ve done.

    spawned a 47 to run light loco from Doncaster to Peterborough and passed several northbound workings but not a single southbound overtook.

    I’ve done several of the 158 runs now & had plenty of LNER AI overtake, usually 3 or 4 in each direction but there has been more.

    Which services have you done? I’ll tick them off tonight.

    I expect that most trains directed into these loops would be approaching at less than line speed - eg. freight trains. However, I would accept a flashing yellow approach sequence for these loops. Nice to see the video evidence that flashing yellows are supposed to be in place at Retford - so that's a definite bug.

    So I just approached Retford from the south and got the flashing yellows - so from the north we're not getting them? Haven't tried from the north yet.
    The weird thing is though, I got the correct flashing yellows but the junction signal had a feather with no aspect. However, when I triggered the AWS ramp, the aspect lit up!

    I've noticed that this sign at Peterborough is rather squiffy on the one side. The other side is fine.
    Also, the 66 when running as ai during the hours of darkness (at least) shows the daylight headlight, but flashing slowly,,,

    "Fixed a Platform Sign at Peterborough Platform 4b which had overlapping text." This is what they said.
    Edit: but I can confirm it's fixed on Playstation.

    Hi,
    Walking South, from Newark Northgate toward Grantham, I've found another bridge that you cannot walk through, in, around or under.
    Here are screenshots of it's location on the map and the other of the bridge.

    I'm running TSW4 on a dedicated 2T SSD drive, with a RX6800 not XT. For PC and Steam.

    On a seperate, but related note, please make sure that the AI women that are wearing skirts do cross their legs when seated. That way, it would match the animated position of the skirts they are wearing when they are seated. Plus, it's just plain the nice thing to do.

    This is an update to my previous post on page 10 of this thread about being yanked out of the cab of the Flying Scotsman when reaching Signal 583...
    The screenshot I included in that post was made at night, so it was difficult to locate. I duplicated the trip to get a better screenshot, using the DVG Railtour day trip that leaves [Peterborough] at [10:26am] on October 4. This is on PC and Steam edition.

    Oh, I was standing in the cab, watching the drivers and the gauges. I wasn't driving.

    Something I just realized is that in this case, I was ejected on the bridge, not before the bridge. I'm also levitated above the bridge, not walking on the bridge. I'm stuck on the bridge and can't walk of on either end.

    The 47 I spawned around 1700 at Doncaster heading south. Thought (depending how good the computer brain is) that it would likely loop me to let something past but nope.

    The 158 run was 1R64 0925 PBO-GRA. Nothing came past.

    So the 47 since it was spawned in FreeRoam, has lot of variables there, so anything could have happened.

    With the 158 run, there aren’t any services timetabled to come through PBO at the time of your service, one leaves before you depart at 09:16, another joins the line at Grantham so you wouldn’t see it & the next one out of PBO is 09:50, so would never catch you.

    There could be AI that should come past you, but I’m not 100% & just going off the service times, it’s correct that you’d have nothing come past you between PBO & Grantham.

    My apologies if this has already been mentioned. I enjoy driving the Class 66 but there is such a thing as too much realism. A lot of these routes end with you having to wait for a certain amount of time which I find quite annoying. I've just found the worst example of having to wait in the game so far - I have completed the 4L88 Leeds to London Gateway route (PS5 using journey mode). Driving under the speed limit I reached the final destination of Peterborough, but I then found that I have to sit in the station for 45 minutes to end the route! Personally I find having to wait longer than 2 or 3 minutes in the game is annoying but this is too much surely;

    This is where game needs a time acceleration feature - does the "God Mod" have this by any chance?

    Other option only slightly less boring would be to drive the whole scenario at 25 or 30 MPH. And read a book.

    Why do the lights go yellow I slow down they go green then further up line yellow then yellow then green I look on map there's nothing infront off me

    This has been discussed - crossing timers are set too tight so you get the signal check. Though fail to slow down at your peril!

    Yes OldVern, God Mode has a set time option. No good for consoles though. Hopefully It'll be patched.

    Almost spadded in a 801 because I thought there was a level crossing in front but there was actually a 66:o.

    Just did the 1Y86 from York to Kings X and was approaching Peterborough. There was a 5 car Azuma held at a red (P507) in the opposite direction about three miles north of the city. Behind it were several other held up Azumas. The service immediately behind was a 5 car Azuma bound for Hull.
    The offending train was apparently bound for Harrogate but I wasn't permitted to drive it. It had a clear track ahead too.
    I then deleted the train and then the traffic behind started to move thankfully.

    Can the devs please see what is causing the problem here?
    There has been a similar problem with the aforementioned service 1H07 that has a 5 car 801 blocking progress just south of Doncaster.

    PC Steam with LondonMidland's Signal EP mod installed.
    Time July 8th 16:20 with heavy clouds on dynamic weather.

    You can set the date and time, with the God Mode Mod, but there's also the option to quadruple the game speed; handy for testing scenarios or skipping the quiet bits of timetable mode.

    After watching the roadmap the other day, I wanted to say something to DTG Mr Matt Peddlestone. I hope you read this please.
    As a sound engineer and a musician who has worked for the BBC and a few famous people, I know my stuff.

    This does not just apply just to the 801. Its also for a few other locos to in the way that the final sound has been mixed, and how it has been panned, with in the listening perspective into the game. The audio volume of the sound is fine in the cab inc the AWS, however it is the panning perspective which is wrong. Its needs to be central, but its not. If you turn your head off centre and face towards the left whilst sitting in the cab, then you can hear it fine, as you move your viewing perspective toward the front then it fades out. So in a nutshell there's nothing wrong with the audio, its just off centre with the panning.

    For those who do not know what panning is...................

    Ha yeah, I just did this service last night. I just went for a wander round the station then watched tv for a bit while time passed. Not ideal though when you want to crack on with another service.

    1: During Scenario "In Threes" you are routed through the slow loop platform at Retford, the protecting signal shows the feather, but no aspect.

    2: I've driven at 125mph more than once and it does not register in Mastery.

    3: I've completed all ECML scenarios, but Mastery does not recognise that.

    This seems to be the result of an exceedingly slack timetable. Such things are not unknown IRL, but in that case there would be a timing point a little earlier, to give the signalman a decision point as to whether the crew change can take place sooner or the train should be held clear of the station. In some cases the rear of the train is left hanging across the centre roads for half an hour!

    A better approach here would be to move the crew change point to somewhere clear of the station, and instruct the player to place the train in a "stabled" condition (brakes fully on, marker lights, cab shut down) so that the relieving (AI) driver can take it over at some later time.

    So another approach control potential issue, at Loversall Junction heading north through Doncaster. We have in game 125mph to 70 with approach from yellow (double yellow, yellow with feather) - still not convinced about that, doesn't give you too much time to slow. 90% sure it should be flashing yellows. I may be wrong though, would be good to hear from any real drivers about that one.

    I’m getting lots of clicking/crackling audio in both the Azuma and Class 66 whilst in the cab. It sounds like the audio loop isn’t seemless and you can hear the ‘join’ in the audio track. It’s much more noticeable in the 66 when in throttle position 8 and doesn’t happen at all outside the cab. I have the latest patch installed that was released earlier this week and this is on Xbox One. Audio is fine outside of TSW4.

    (Incidentally this is exactly the same clicking/crackling type noise that the Class 20 has in TSW 2 on TVL but never got fixed and was covered in a forum thread way back when)

    There is a rogue signal just south of Retford (D143) that doesn't display an aspect until the AWS ramp has been activated. This as well has been mentioned before. Of course I treated it like a red signal because it was faulty although it had a feather indicator! Contacted the signaller and was eventually cleared to Retford station:love:

    Can you guys add some flange sound to the 801 because when departing platform 1 there is a curve can't here any flange.

    Is speedometer screen brightness are not adjustable on 801? Can't find any buttons.

    • Specific Information Bird song audible in cab of Azuma whilst travelling at speed
    I play with headphones and although it's quiet in the mix there is definitely birdsong in the cab. I'm fairly sure you wouldn't be able to hear the birds when whizzing by at 125mph. Choose a service in summer with calm weather and once you have left the busy station behind you can hear the birds.

    I think at that speed you're more likely to hit a few birds rather than hear them.

    On the right hand screen there's an icon on the bottom left which allows you to change the screen brightness.

    People need to realise that not every route thats released will appeal to them but as usual on here its just " it should of been this" or "why didnt they do that instead"

    Timetable mode Class 700 Departs from garage 01:14

    The preceding train is blocked and cannot proceed.

    In timetable mode, these two trains with the same time are unnecessary.
    There is no fast-forward function, so it takes up a lot of time. Please make a proper rudimentary mode.
    If you can't fix it, reduce the number from the beginning.
