Route Length: 50.3 miles Rolling stock: Class 153, Class 156 Layers: Class 66, Class 158, HST (AI) Why I want this route: It is quite scenic a scenic route with a mix of the midlands and the Peak district and is local to me. The 153 and 156 would be good locos for TSW4 especially the 153 as we haven't seen a loco like this in TSW4 before. Stations: Newark castle, Rollestone, Fiskerton, Bleasby, Thurgarton, Lowdham, Burton Joyce, Carlton, Nottingham, Beeston, Attenborough, Long Eaton, Derby, Duffield, Belper, Ambergate, Whatstandwell, Cromford, Matlock bath and Matlock. This is 20 stations making it quite a dense route over 50 miles. Services Newark Castle to Matlock Newark Castle to Nottingham Newark Castle to Derby (Crewe as AI) Derby to Matlock (Coming from Crewe) Nottingham to Matlock and The other way round. Some express services run between Nottingham and Newark non stop so that could also be integrated. A full run would take around 1 hour 30.
How about an extension to Lincoln, its around another 10-20 miles I think. That way, we could run a complete service start to finish.
I guess so but trains going to Lincoln only start at Nottingham. Matlock services go all the way to Newark.
It would be better if they were extentions of the existing Midland Main Line dlc by Skyhook Games as the Derby to Nottingham section is already available.
