Hi i'm on ps4 (pro) and ever since the Thameslink Class 700 was released, it has been completely missing as AI operated services when driving any other train that isn't a Class 700. if i drive a Class 375, Class 395 or Class 465, there are absolutely NO Thameslink Clasa 700 services anywhere in the game, nor are they scheduled on the PIS screens.. However if i select to drive an actual Class 700 service from timetable mode, the other Class 700 services are there, as well as being present on all the PIS screens too. why is this? Why are there absolutely no class 700 services when selecting to drive literally any other train? i'm personally dissapointed by this, as i purchased the Class 700 more to see it as AI on SEHS whilst i drive the Class 395, but now i've bought it and it's nowhere to be seen. i purposely waited to post this until after today's console patch, but i've just tried a handful of timetable services starting with Class 395, Class 375 and Class 465, and when doing do there are zero Thameslink Class 700 trains in the game. is this a known issue? Will it likely be fixed? As i currently feel like i've wasted my money which is a shame Edit: also to add i've been using the full timetable throughout, so that isn't the reason these services are missing this issue also occurs when spawning on foot.. for example if i spawn at Higham at 10.00, platform 1 says there are no services at all due to arrive/depart whatsoever, when in reality the class 700 SHOULD be here every 30 minutes, but when accesses by spawning on foot there are zero class 700 services in the game.. bottom line is for me class 700 services are only present on PS4 when actually driving a class 700, all other times when driving literally any other train or spawning on foot, they are completely missing
Any news on this? I use the game on PS4 sometimes. On PS5, everything is fine. But on PS4, the AI 700 only appears when driving a 700. The opening post is from July. Will TSW3 get any patches at all (serious question)? Thanks.
i've recently switched from ps4 to ps5, i haven't checked yet but i imagine the class 700's will be there on ps5.. when it comes to ps4 however i'm guessing it's still going to be an issue, which is really strange as like you say if you select to drive a class 700, all the class 700 ai services are present, but in all other circumstances they are missing. i'm surprised this hasn't been raised more as a concern and a fix being worked on, as i remember at the time when i bought the class 700 i bought it mostly for the ai services, which turned out to never be there when driving literally any other train or spawning on foot!
100% agree. Unfortunately, DTG has a bit a history of layering issues. Since I quite like variety in the game, I am quite aware of those. On TSW 2, the Class 465 was very rare. On TSW3, the Kassel Wurzburg route has some issues with the 101 and the Dispolok 182. And now the 700 issue (which I was not really aware of until I played SEHS on my old PS4 today). And yes, on PS5 it is much better.
I think the ECML route in Train Sim World 4 has this issue with the class 158? When I drive the 158, there's plenty, but anything else and there isn't any at all, and nothing on the associated PIS boards.
As I wrote, they have a bit of a history. Was not aware of the 158 situation but am not surprised (no hate). Disregarding the fact that the issue seems to be on PS4 only (the 700 is there on PS5), it should be noted that people paid XX GBP/EUR/USD to actually have the 700 on SEHS, also as an AI train. So they are not actually getting what they paid for. I hope this does not sound to aggressive. I see that 4 is the hot stuff now, but still I sincerely hope that the "window" during which 3 will receive updates is long enough for some classics to get fixed.
