Trying to set up some simple AI trains on Dresden - Riesa right now. I made a EuroCity with a Vectron and some InterCity coaches. With the instructions in the screenshot below, the train comes out of the portal east of Dresden Hbf, stops at Dresden Hbf then Dresden-Neustadt without any issues. It then leaves Dresden-Neustadt and heads for the portal on the mainline towards Berlin. However, the "Enter Portal" instruction is never marked as complete, so at this point everything gets stuck. Using the 9 map when playing in Editor, I can see the train's last coach stopped right before the edge of the map. Here's the relevant part of the log from trying to simulate the timetable: After that, the "Stop Off Path", "Acquired (entered) route" and "AI has been stopped for [time]" lines just repeat forever until the simulation fails. Does anyone have any ideas what might be the issue here?
So you need to end the service somewhere. Your best option is have service enter stop somewhere start a new service and it'll go into the exit portal fine. There is a bug which means trains mostly can't go portal to portal and actually will stop half way I to the exit portal unless you have a new service start somewhere in between.
