Evening, I've just tried driving the GW HST for the first time in TSW4, but I seem to have inaudible AWS Bell and Horn sounds. Also, the brakes don't seem to do anything until you hit the Emergency Brake button... Are these issues known?.
I just tried GWE, and the brakes seem to work on initial (I tried stopping from 20mph and they worked at initial application). I also tried enabling the AWS and DVD using these two switches on the right hand side (middle of the picture and above the fire alarm too): I had to confirm AWS when I enabled it, but didn't test if the magnets worked unfortunately.
I can't speak to the AWS or sound problems but I've driven HST on GWE in TSW4. The brakes seemed to work fine. Something to bear in mind though is that self-powered diesel-electrics usually stop slower than externally-powered commuter trains because the power cars are significantly heavier.
