If they do make the North Jersey Coast Line for TSW 4 as the next NJ Transit DLC they should also include some of the services to Hoboken.
The ALP-44 could come with a classic pack along with the Comet IV cars. If they do this, they could make the Comet IV cars running on the NEC: New York - Trenton route, with Comet V cab cars.
I dont see the ALP-44 ever coming to TSW due to references, unless DTG decides to take sounds from the Caltrain AEM-7 or their Swedish cousin, the SJ Rc's.
You are correct furthermore Comet IVs typically run by themselves as a whole unit or mixed with Comet V trailers. Remember the last batch of these locomotives ALP-44M were ordered for Midtown Direct from Dover/Gladstone to NYC via Summit exit 45 I-78
