So I've been trying to mess around in timetable mode with the new free roam feature.
Spawning the BNSF ES44C4s in the Barstow yard to try make some freight consists. The alerter on the other trains in my formation continuously sound, even though the in cab signaling is disabled. You can manually go into them and hit the alerter button, which will stop it for a little, but it always comes back. Makes it pretty much impossible to go into third person view as the noise is continuous and headache inducing.

I had this on PS5 with my spawned ES44 train, alerter constantly going and could only stop the sound inside the cab I was in, external cameras a no go due to the sound on constant repeat. The initial setup of the locos is clearly different to that in timetable mode when you spawn them.

Flipping the Cab Signals breaker On/Off in each loco did the trick for me.

What I've found is after a brake application on a long ES44C4 consist, the rear brake pipe pressure wouldn't recover.

Apparently the Banking Comm button sets up the DPU lead loco incorrectly. After I went back to the loco I found the brakes to be cut in and the handle not in Handle Off position. Upon correcting this (do not sit in the seat of that loco!), the brakes recovered normally.

You'll have to enter the loco, as you cannot operate through the windows using 3 cam.

Correct lead DPU config: Handle Off, Brakes cut out, Independent set to Lead and handle released

There’s no way I’m walking all the way to the back of the train to do that and then walking all the way back to the front. Not even once to see if it works.
