Just wanted to say a big thank you to Michael for the masterclass video today! Great overview of the basics of making timetables and I picked up lots of little things that would've taken me ages to figure out on my own. Amount of things shown in the video, pacing, and structure were also very good for me. I also think the pre-recorded premiere with live chat format worked a lot better than the live stream last week, as it allows the host to stay relaxed and on script without getting distracted by chat, and questions could just be answered in text form anyway. Big thumbs up for that. One thing I'd like to see improved for next time: please add some Q&A time after the end of the pre-recorded video - just add x minutes of a black screen to the end of the video, during which time the host stays in chat to answer questions. Today's video ended rather abruptly. Still, as my only criticism is the way it ended, you can see I'm very satisfied with the video and I will use my learnings asap. I would love a part 2 video in a similar style, going over some more advanced subjects in greater detail!
I agree with this. Video in the pre-recorded format was good, with the host in chat to answer things as the video went on. The abrupt ending was the only downside. Thanks DTG Michael for the great tutorial!
Thanks for the great feedback, folks! Tagging in DTG Alex who organised it. Glad to hear you liked it in the pre-recorded format. Think this is the route we'll take in future for all the aforementioned reasons.
I am really grateful for the feedback for the PC Editor content, we'll be bringing you more of this soon with new hosts and likely continuing a pre-recorded + live Q&A format. Having a dedicated section for questions is a great idea too, and it's easily added! Thank you
