Hi, I am doing a scenario that requires stock from the IHH Bonus Content pack, on someones freeware route. I know it is no longer available, but I was wondering, would it be possible please for someone at DTG to think about releasing this or letting it be shared by the community in freeware routes? Richard. This may not help but it was published around 2012 and it was primarily intended solely for IHH products, possibly listed below. In the Assets IHH Bonus folder, it added files for Audio, Particles, Rail Vehicles, Scenery, and system It included sound files for the Class 20 and generic wagons. In the rail vehicles section, it included files under diesel for a Brush type 4 and a Deltic. Under Passenger: GUV, Mk1BG. Mk1-bogie, and Mk1SK. Under Freight: 16TMineralWagon, 20t BR Brake Van, HAA Hood, HEA, ICI Hopper, and Iron ore Tippler. You may be able to substitute these if you can't find a copy??
Sorry, I might not have made it clear, I have all the IHH stuff, the issue is if I do a scenario with them, people new to the hobby will not have them and cannot get them. My plea to DTG was to make the bonus content available again. Thanks for the replies anyway.
Do they provide unique content? My recollection is that the subjects have all been done by others, often newer and better.
The 'Summers' Iron Ore wagons that were used between Bidston Docks and Shotton in particular. There is other stuff in the pack which is handy to have.
If people don't have the wagons they need they will swap them for something else. Rosgar still use IHH stock in some of their scenarios I don't remember the wagons you mentioned but the Digital Traction Wagon pack 3 has a similar ICI wagon https://digitaltraction.co.uk/mainsite/products/wagon-pack-3-2/ Peter
Don't think DTG have the rights to publish that. Maybe someone of the original IHH devs can be reached.
There is only one IHH dev AFAIK and I doubt he would be interested in updating the stock for current users. I was lead to believe the entire catalogue was sold to DTG - was that not the case?
I too thought he sold the whole catalogue to DTG, but for some reason they didn't capitalise on their purchase. That was up to them. That ICI wagon is a close second (if only someone could reskin into a SUMMERS wagon!)
The Duke of Gloucester is their biggest missed opportunity. I'm sure it would be a big seller for all sorts of reasons.
For me I'd just be happy if they released the whole lot as a big bundle in a 'it is what it is' format - so no enhancements or fixes, just leaving it as it is for the scenarios that use it. I think DTG are long past using IHH models since most aren't very good anyway, but along with lots of old withdrawn DTG stuff it would be very useful to have it back even if it's not up to standard.
If they did that those in the know would accept it faults and all but the newer people would just complain to DTG on Forums and FB because something was not right or it did not work the way they think in should. It would be those people voting it down giving DTG a bad rep.
