Now that I've had a few weeks running TSW4, I'm thinking of uninstalling TSW3, as I don't use / need it any more. I don't have any mods / custom scenarios that I don't mind losing, so I can't really see any downsides to uninstalling. But I thought I'd better check in case there are any issues doing this that I haven't thought about. Views, please?
No you have no issues to uninstall it... Things from CreatorsClub are compatible for the most part. You have no mods so there no issues either.
I did uninstall tsw3 when tsw4 got released but I've just recently reinstalled tsw3 for one particular route 'Rhein-Ruhr Osten' because a lot of overhead gantry posts appearing over the track at one location but its ok on tsw3. If i see any other serious graphical issues on other routes they will be reinstalled back to tsw3.
Better wait, for example the substitution seems to have huge trouble in tsw4. For example on dra, Nothing spawns except the route base locos. Also many older routes have a weird substitution pattern since the change.
I am also doing this - if something runs better under TSW3 (NY-Trenton is another example), I go back to that.
