I mean the rain from the tiny little clouds in sunny weather. This one kills the immersion. Or make those clouds bigger and darker atleast. Or make this pattern 98% less chance to apply(cause for now it's applying almost 99,9% of the time after light clouds pattern). Or make this pattern much shorter in time(not a 50 minutes raining from nowhere!).
Yes I've noticed that, that it rains on a lovely sunny day with hardly any clouds, it does kill the immersion.
To be honest this is one of the main reasons I never use dynamic weather. Personally I'd prefer an overcast sky with on/off showers.
You can also have a sudden switch to intense rain out of nowhere. Clouds need an evolution and rain intensity as well. Normally a heavy rain brings winds before, due to the barometric pressure difference, then clouds arrive, then rain starts and then it disappears progressively too. Cheers
Yeah. Dynamic weather just triggers some full presets with a probability but not so much logic behind that other than randomness. That´s why we see sudden changes. It would be easier and better if they just inject the individual weather variables in real time every minute for instance, based on a small script with some kind of evolution patterns to change them. This is what I used with my dynamic weather tool some time ago and it was not that hard to create it. Cheers
It is indeed possible for this kind of weather condition to happen irl, but you're right, it shouldn't be happening as frequently in-game as it is right now. It'd be great if there was more work done to the dynamic weather system, especially so that there's more of a gradual change rather than it suddenly deciding its going to rain now.
Don't worry. The revamped dynamic weather system will be an exclusive feature in TSW5 next September, alongside a new font in the pause menu and an incredible new pallete of colours in the start screen...
