Steam Flying Scotsman Disappeared

Opened TSW4, went to trains to drive Flying Scotsman. Gone. All other routes are still there. Need a steam drive fix.

 

What Console, or PC
What Platform (Steam, Epic, etc)
What Route, was it timetable, scenario, free roam?


Have you verified your files if on steam?

 

Verified files. Steam on high end PC. Verification shows everything OK. However complete route, the engine, everything is gone. Tried to run on ECM (I think it was?) which has timetables with the Scotsman but when it started I was on a platform with no train. Empty rails.

 

Are you able to tell us which timetable service it was on ECML please, so we can try to replicate

 

It is 1Z72. London Kings Cross to York. Tried a couple of other runs, same result. No train but get the instruction to open doors and load passengers and when I check the map it shows a train there. Apparently it's invisible. The route itself not appearing in my list of routes.

 

Deselect the route on steam in your DLC list. Exit steam. Restart your pc. Open steam. Reselect the route DLC to download it again.

 

No joy. Still missing.

 

The SEHS player spawn bug is also "featured" here. The Scotsman is there, but you're spawned in random place on 1Z72.

 

Then the bug only affects the Scotsman. I've done a clean install but must have obscure files someplace since when I opened TSW4 all my history was still there and still no Scotsman routes, engines, etc was still missing. Didn't clear Steam cache though. Assume history and last played may be hidden there.
