"The Semmering railway (German: Semmeringbahn) in Austria, which starts at Gloggnitz and leads over the Semmering to Mürzzuschlag, was the first mountain railway in Europe built with a standard gauge track. It is commonly referred to as the world's first true mountain railway, given the very difficult terrain and the considerable altitude difference that was mastered during its construction. It is still fully functional as a part of the Southern Railway which is operated by the Austrian Federal Railways." (wikipedia)

There is that upcoming Austrian route. Probably out spring 2024. I have a strong suspicion this will be the Semmeringbahn.

DTG rarely do a long route, and most routes are 40-70km long. This route fits the bill perfectly, and will probably come with the Railjet and the OBB 1116 with Eurofirma coaches. Plus its the only route DTG have done in Austria for Train Sim Classic as far as I'm aware as the Three Country Corner is by Just Trains and the other Austrian routes by RSSLO

Good point but there is going to be a problem with 1116 it's a 182 locomotive used by the Austrian ÖBB. Which means they just simply take the rapid transit version base model and simply make the Austrian 1116 from it therefore bugged from the start because of RT182 base model.
To prevent this from happening it should be like this Austrian 1116 as base models for the 182s in game not the RT version

Is that the Vectron with IC coaches? If Yes then the Ownership of HRR and Vectron is required for it just like the Three country route Voarlberg does

Well it was Vectron hauling 3 Slovenian and 3 Austrian coaches, but in the summer of this year the contract betwen SŽ and ELL ended so now in Slovenia it is hauled by SŽ 342 and in Austria by OBB 1144

    To add to my suggestion:

    Layer:
    • Vectron Loco DLC: Hauling freight trains
    • Vectron Loco DLC and BR 101 Loco DLC: Vectron Hauling IC coaches
    • Hamburg-Lübeck or MRCE BR 182 loco DLC for KWG & BR 101 Loco DLC: BR 182 (either black or yellow) hauling IC Coaches and freight trains

Sounds like your route is being realized, I'd say! Let's hope that, at some point, they also make one of the ones I suggested.
